The owners are so lovely and helpful. We don't speak french so they helped us with a lot of planning of tours and transport which we really needed, couldn't ask for a more hospitable stay. Our room was really clean and spacious, with the bed comfortable. The garden is lovely and in general really pleasant to be in. We ended up staying 3 nights instead of 1. Really great value.

Ok, this is one of the few special places that create memories from your trip, not just a comfortable place to stay during your trip. And not only in Toubakouta, but in Senegal overall. Visiting Keur Niaye is like spending a vacation in the country with your favorite aunt as a kid. This is thanks to Celine and Gilles, who created a beautiful place, gather their guests around the dinner table for warm and mind-opening conversations and inventive, delicious, fine home-cooked meals, who share incredible experiences of local life through their guided tours, while being highly responsible for the well-being of local community and nature, and, last, but not least - leaving guests, who don't speak French feeling comfortable. After a rough day of travel, it was a nice welcome to arrive to a room that was already air conditioned. The staff was super patient with me throughout the day as it took me a long time to arrive from where I was coming. It's a great location and the owner was very responsive and helpful even while being away (we connected by WhatsApp).
