ThailandMaybe this is my favourite place to stay in the whole world. Ban Krut is beautiful and relaxing and this family resort feels like my home. The family home is surrounded by bungalows scattered around the garden with all sorts of trees and flowers .They are the sweetest people and it is a short bicycle ride to 7/11, restaurants, cafes and the lovely beach. I read reviews that the stuff would not speak English, but the reception spoke English very well ^^. Als very friendly.
Location is nice and quiet near the beach with a Sunday night market, plenty of restaurants, and street food every evening. 711 is 10 mins walk but there is a smaller convenience closer by.

Wonderful staff, very clean big rooms, pool was a godsend in the heat. Picked us up from the train station and gave us a lift to collect a scooter. We loved it that much we extended our stay. Others mentioned no shop/cafe on site. A small shop 2 mins away sold water cold drinks snacks etc and lots of eating places around.

Raymond and Id were the most delightful and unobtrusive hosts that I have ever experienced anywhere in my over 60 years of traveling extensively around the world. The location and accommodation were absolutely outstanding, but the host made our stay really special, and the breakfasts were the most unique and special and so obviously made with love. Can't wait to go back!

Nice complex offering different types of accommodation we stayed in a garden bungalow which was nice and quiet. The pool area was good just across from a sandy beach, a few restaurants nearby most closed early around 9pm

We had a perfect Pool villa with view to the sea.
Everything was in good condition.
Each day fresh water and refilled free of charge Minibar.
Overall the whole resort is in nice shape und amazing looking.
The staff was great, very helpful and always polite.
Also during our stay there we're max 20 other guests which makes it even more comfortable and relaxing.

We stayed at the hotel, the service was excellent, a large pool, plenty of sunbeds, great breakfast. Helpful staff, everywhere clean, a cafe is part of it. Free transfer from the train. We recommend.

We had a Garden Cottage. Staff is very nice and helpful. Garden cottage (clean !) itself also really nice idea with how the room is designed, nice bathroom with separate shower and bath. Good water streams. Good door lock and proper safety box. Good wifi. It's a nice location at the beach, but far away from other hotels and restaurants.
The visit was to find a new property to stay a couple of times a year, but we are not going to stay here again, see reasoning below.

Wonderful resort for a quiet vacation with private beach access. We stayed in the private pool villa and we're amazed by everything: the villa and the pool were quite spacious, the beach and the water were clean. Also the stuff was very friendly and quite helpful with every thing. We will definitely return.

I really like location, staff, and accommodation. It is clean, peaceful, and well-maintainence. We always enjoy staying here and this year we stay here twice. PS. swinmming pool is great- clean and beautiful.
