I loved my stay here! The hostel has a friendly, relaxed vibe and it’s a great place to meet other travellers before the gibbon experience or the slow boat. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with anything, like arranging transport and recommending a place to eat. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the mattress was very soft and comfortable, and the common area is a great place to chill and enjoy the view. There is a large space to sit where you can see over the Mekong river to Thailand. I’d definitely stay again as it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Laos.

Clean, spacious, and very comfy room with direct view of the Mekong. The couple running the place couldn't have been nicer! Very warm, welcoming and both with excellent English. They even organized the bus ticket to Chiang Mai for the next morning. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The property is very close to the border. The owner was so kind and welcoming, they picked us up from the bus in town and then the next morning offered to drive us to the border.

We really loved having a dining room and a living room. There was also a really nice coffee shop across the street. And laundry facility in front of our hotel. Loved it.

Excellent location for anyone wanting to be on the Mekong River, not just people staying overnight for the slow boat. Restaurants just a few minutes walk away. And a wonderful walk on the promenade. I didn’t know there wasn’t a lift; however hotel staff were ready to carry our luggage up to the room. We had a view of the river from our balcony. The bathroom was the first wet room type we’ve ever used. It was great. Hot water and water pressure were great. Recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The location is convenient and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even helped us book transportation back across the border and all the way to Chiang Rai. It was nice to have a good-sized room to ourselves for a very good price.
