Accommodations in Ko Yao Yai

Beautiful grounds we never had to leave there was so much to explore for our little one. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in Thailand.

Newly build, good facility and beaches. very suitable for family with children. and couples too. Friendly and helpful stuff. very delicious breakfast with lots variety. family pool and beaches are awesome. beach is clean and can swim, water is clean. sands powdery. ask the reception or check the tide and jelly fish season. best hotel on the island.

Question should what not to like.

The property offers a quiet, peaceful oasis that’s perfect for anyone who wants to relax. The location is a close walk to the beach and is away from town, but not too far. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable, the pool is fabulous, and the restaurant was delicious!

Having the managers contact in the rooms was great as she was very helpful in organising motorbikes/activities. The breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly. The tv has access to connect your phone and access streaming sites.

The place, location and the surrounding is so serene. Staff is so nice and kind. The view was perfect.

Everything was great here! We enjoyed every day staying here! The rooms are very nice, the staff as well and the views fabulous.

Great place to relax and disconnect, I especially loved the pool access from your terrace. Super nice staff. Breakfast was great as well. Super easy access to the wonderful sandy beach. Easy to make trips to some truly wonderful islands around.

Went to Ko Yao Yai to have a couple of days to just relax during our backpacking tour and we couldn’t have chosen a better resort to do that. Thiwson Beach Resort is a lovely and beautiful place. The staff is extremely nice and they got us a free bungalow update. The included breakfast is also wonderful

Wow!!!! This is the perfect place. The beach is in your face. The rooms are amazing. Neither small nor huge. The customer service is amazing. really nice Trying to help in any situation.

Great place to relax for a couple of days. They have several hammocks, sun chairs and swings. Friendly and helpful staff. The bamboo huts are simple yet have everything that you need incl. warm water in the shower if needed. Also every hut has a covered sitting area which is great when it rains. Breakfast was nice as well though heavy on carbs/sugars: mango sticky rice, fresh fruits and toast with jam - for vegetarians and omnivores there are even more options.

The swimming pool was great, but so was the experience at the resort.

Gorgeous, personable, and not crowded. Free paddleboards and kayaks were a big plus.

Very new beautiful rooms everything you will need is provided, lovely white linens, high quality fixture and fittings. Hot water, fridge, hairdryer. Nice sitting out areas

Pond (the manager) is a delightful, truly exceptional lady. She (and her family) made such a huge, positive difference throughout both of our stays. We can't say enough good things about her. Nono (the chef) was cheerful, helpful, and provided much better than expected food at the on-site restaurant. Many of the dinners we had there were delicious. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of choices. Esmeralda is a beautiful property with bungalows that are rustic, charming, and (mostly) functional. *Make sure you confirm exactly which class of bungalow you're booking so there are no surprises when you get there*. We stayed twice within a 3 week period, in the deluxe C-3 and the corner deluxe B-4 (spa bathtub!). Absolutely beautiful views from both units. Complete privacy (except for the geckos ;) Both had well-functioning AC. The bungalows could use a bit more maintenance, but nothing too major or unexpected for an island property. We appreciated that the staff took seriously the few minor issues that did come up. They really care about their guests.

Everything was very good and relaxing. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay and took care of everything for us. Close to everything with a scooter, good breakfast, cozy room, nice view.

Yao Bada Badoo is a fantastic haven of comfort and luxury. I stayed in room D2 which was exceptionally clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. I particularly loved the wooden furniture and the wood floors. The floor to ceiling windows wrap around the room and open onto one of the 2 magnificent pools. The pool itself is designed with top quality tiles, which adds lots of visual appeal. The bathroom design was stylish and and had a luxury feel with a lot of attention to detail. I liked it. It is well located, close to bars, restaurant, convenience stores and if you rent a scooter then Laem Had beach is 7 minutes ride away. A bliss! The staff is well trained, responsive, helpful and very kind. The manager Kareen was exceptional throughout, was always available and facilitated every request from booking a motorbike or boat trip with a transfer to the pier included. It was such a pleasure returning to the hotel after a day out and also so tempting to stay at the property to enjoy its beauty. Breakfast, although not the most varied, was generous and delicious. Massages and a laundry service are available on-site. It had everything to make it one the best stays i have had in Thailand.
