Accommodations in Portsmouth

The location is very close to the highway to travel north or south.

We loved the shuttle into town, and the guy at the front desk was very helpful.

I liked the coffee at the Breakfast buffé :).

We were greeted by "Min" who was super friendly and nice. Made us call welcomed and informed is of all the amenities. The room was clean, cute and cozy. We would stay here again for sure.

Good size room, especially for the price, good location - easy to find - and friendly staff. There are parts under construction, nut the west wing is fine. Kind of wish there were breakfast, but I booked knowing there wasn't. Fridge in room meant I could pick up some breakfast items from Market Basket and be all set.

Super clean, and lots of towels, customer service is very nice and helpful. The front lady is ADHD friendly and was fine with repeating things for me and talking slowly.

It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was centrally located to many restaurants and shops. We love the stores and restaurants in Kittery, Maine and we only had a ten minute drive to get there. The hosts were very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. This was the perfect spot for us to stay for the night on our way to Acadia!

I love staying in a historic inn with wide pine floor boards and Victorian wallpaper. The gardens were lovely, even in winter. I love the extra touches of a warm bathrobe and slippers and excellent coffee with real mugs

There is so much to love about our stay… the hotel is an impressive historic building restored for accomodation, location perfect to walk to all and any of the Portsmouth sights! There are two levels of communal seperate rooms for sitting, games, reading from an extensive selection of books, amazing communal kitchen with an excellent continental breakfast and extra options. All the staff were so professional, reception notably friendly and generous in allowing us to check in hours earlier, and breakfast staff great to recommend lighthouse options in Maine as per our next stop. Our 3rd floor room was perfectly proportioned with king sized beds, 2 rooms and modern beautifully appointed bathroom. Considering it was deemed the hottest day in over 101 years, the aircon managed to keep us cool overnight.

The property is an elegant renovation of a New England period architecture. It was easy to walk to the town, shops and restaurants. Portsmouth has a lot of New England charm. The bed was extremely plush and comfortable. The decor was beautiful inside the room and throughout the Inn. The owner John greeted us when we arrived, he explained the history & renovation of the property and made us feel genuinely welcome.

Lovely, local, centrally located. Well appointed. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and helpful.
