Our private thatched roof villa was large and luxurious. The remote location provided a lovely and relaxing view of the surrounding undisturbed landscape. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming, charming, and very happy to engage in conversation. Their hospitality was perhaps the warmest we encountered in our lengthy South African journey. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Each were freshly cooked and delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the nature trails.

You can choose between a breakfast for an additional fee or a free simple breakfast. The latter was perfect for us as a EU continental family. Dinner can be booked on request and was the best we had during our three-week stay in South Africa. The place was super cozy for us and our two kids, ages 11 and 13. It's right in the middle of the Panorama Route, and we spent two full days enjoying the gorgeous views and sights. Beautiful garden where you can enjoy walking around, plus a magnificent terrace where you can sit in the morning and afternoon. After booking, there was clear communication about what time we were expected, etc. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and comfort. The beds were wonderful and the luxurious bathroom had a shower and bath with hot water. As we were traveling in winter and the accommodation is located at a high altitude, there was a good fireplace with plenty of wood to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The owner was wonderful. Many thanks!

unexpected mediterraenean architecture, sprouting fountains, scent of yasmin, flowering shrubs, Royal Palms, delightful pool area. Too many steps for the elderly , but luckily accommodation had also been taken into account on main level to all facilities.

The place is so refreshing, it was raining on our first day but eventually the rain stopped…we saw few animals on our way out , giraffes, monkeys, tortoise 🐢 ect
