Accommodations in Dete

We have been to this hotel many times over the past 20 years. It has been in need of a renovation which is now under way. Our recent visit was during the reno which was inconvenient but necessary. We look forward to our next stay. The food was a reasonable selection and good quality. The pool and view of the water hole with game was, as always, great.

Loved everything, the staff were amazing . They made us feel really welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. The views were Amazing overlooking the park and seeing wild animals. There were activities for families with children and a clean pool. Great bar on site and Evening Entertainment .

Excellent place for a fair price. All staff was super professional. We wish we could have stayed longer. Food is not included in the price but very good value as well.

Such an amazing place with fantastic, helpful staff! We stayed for 3 nights and did 2 game drives organised by the Lodge. It was such an amazing experience with elephants visiting the lodge & safari so close. Great value for money. Big shout out to Chef Kuda, Immaculate & Ashley for taking care of us! Biggest shout out to our safari guide Mduduzi who guided us to lions, hyenas, giraffes, elephants & more! Thanks for putting up with our banter. Hope to see everyone again!
