I was pleasantly surprised by this last-minute choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming, spoke English, and went above and beyond — from arranging taxis to helping me book a wonderful last-minute island tour. The room had a lovely view, and the location is close to restaurants and main spots on the island, making everything very easy.

i love the location and the view. it also has this unique glamping vibe where you can just stare at the ocean from your bed. the staff and the host were all great! and i definitely enjoyed the breakfast!!!! really good!!!

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Also, very quiet at night. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and professional. They helped with booking tours and renting scooters. I was really impressed with their hospitality.

Jorge and Tisha were very, very helpful in booking this stay. They communicate very well, offer assistance with connections to transportation and restaurants, and they care about your experience. My now fiancee and I were there to celebrate her birthday! Tisha and Jorge assisted me in decorations and dinner reservations, cake and making it a loving and wonderful moment of engagement. The rooms were really cute, great for staying a week or even more. The housekeeper came every day, even Christmas Day. This was unexpected and welcomed. Our host Lyndon was amazing! He was so friendly and helpful, always willing to help us out. He even got a side by side for us to rent, which really is a necessity in Providencia. The rate was reasonable, too. The location was walking distance to town and some restaurants.

Posada Old Town Bay is located on the beachfront in Providencia. The inn has a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. A continental breakfast is available at the inn.

Loved staying here. Ocean view in front, very clean and comfortable large apartment with a patio, pretty green property with flowers. We had our own fully stocked kitchen, fridge/freezer. Sheets and towels were changed almost daily and the room cleaned. Staff were friendly, helpful and helped us get an atv mule for the day. The island is small but there are a few beaches to explore and walking over to Santa Catalina Island. There is a small grocery up the street and a great little panderia with the tastiest banana bread up another street. The prettiest beach on the island, SW Bay Beach, is just a short walk away and chairs on the beach are free to use, there are plenty. Couple bar/restaurants right on the beach. I highly recommend staying here!!!

It was clean and organized. Provided AC and TV service. Miss Portia was very welcoming and extremely friendly giving us recommendations for places to eat or where to go and helped us call for a cab reservation for our way back to the airport.! Keep in mind the reservation is to be paid in CASH. I wasnt aware of this and had to go out and find an ATM. Also there is no hot water but its room temperature so its not that difficult to deal with. Room amenities include AC, TV, hanging and closet space, table lamp and mini fridge
