Our stay was very comfortable, the rooms were clean and tidy and the facilities were great. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the family who own Green House were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The location is a little out of the city centre which makes it nice and quiet. The wildlife is also a delightful bonus. I would definitely go back 😁

Beautiful people and hostel. Great location to visit the area of Tarapoto. I forgot how many days I stayed here, I started with three, but kept booking more nights. My room was cleaned every few days, new towels and tissue and Shoffis Mum did my laundry for a small price. Had some nice evenings on the roof top chilling!! Anything I needed to know about Tarapoto I asked and Shoffi gave me the information and sorted out a mototaxi for me to a local waterfall which was lovely.

Just an incredible place to stay. The staff - reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping - were amongst the best I have experienced in hospitality. The food is excellent. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean and nice to be in. There are two pools - one amazing natural pool and the main one. The wildlife and insects everywhere make you feel like you’re right in the heart of the rainforest. Make sure and ask for tours from Rodil - he’s excellent!

El tambito was very clean, quiet and cosy. The food is delicious (every day a different breakfast!), we even got a free tasting of all the cacao products they make. The host is super lovely, he even wrote us a very detailed list with options what to do (with all prices and phone numbers). It's only a few minutes away from the lake where it's possible to swim and chill. Also the cat is supercute!!
The only bad thing was that we didn't have time to stay longer. It's a wonderful place to relax and chill!!

The Yanashpa Resort is a surprising place in the middle of the jungle, exceeding everything we expected. The welcome, the comfortable cabins and the delicious dishes in the restaurant made our stay unforgettable. It was the perfect retreat to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed exploring the resort by bike, a fun and unique experience. Without a doubt, we look forward to returning.

This is an amazing place if you want Nature to nurture you. The view is wonderful. Ysa, Katia and Sarai are super nice. Their service is great and always provide helpful tips for your stay. This place made my trip totally worth it.

It's really an amazing place because of the Host ! Sandra, Mercedes, and all the family are amazing, super nice, helpful, interesting. You feel at home from the beginning.
It's a nice place to stay, chill, and visit around if you want. The room was nice with a private bathroom and AC.
You also have rooftop to chill and a big swimming pool.
They prepare a really nice breakfast (the last day, Sandra did our breakfast a 6.30 am before our leaving)
I definitely recommend this place!!

Beautiful property, run by a family yet very professionally. Top ratings for cleanliness, the AC in the room is a great relief, the lady of the house, the host is very warm & helping, there’re lots of examples of local arts & artefacts, lovely plants. Good breakfast made as per my requirement — lovely experience! If I ever were to pass by Tarapoto, this would be my place to stay at

The welcoming from the owners was at another level. They are just so kind and friendly! They helped me with everything, from getting a safe taxi to finding me good-priced tours and help with laundry.
Do yourself a favor and stay with them. Also book your tours with them, good prices.
