Fantastic property it was just completed in October 2024 everything is brand new. It’s quite luxurious and the location is beautiful. The food was outstanding, like a fusion between French and Senegalese cuisine. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Great place with direct beach access with super clean facilities, wonderful staff, and fantastic food (try the tuna carpaccio) and drinks (cocktails!). The outside beds were my favourite. Owner was incredibly helpful and helped me organise my next hotel incl driver. Highly recommend

Beautiful property, feels like an oasis in the town. The staff super friendly and warm/welcoming. Breakfast was great with eggs fruit and pastry. Wifi worked pretty well.

The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Fresh made omelet, orange juice, fresh crusty baguette; other breads, danish, cheese, carafe of hot coffee, etc. The whole experience was very different and so much better than what I am used to. I am used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels but this villa experience is more like a luxury bed & breakfast. The food is absolutely gourmet and excellent. The decor in the whole villa and the room is combination of African and French tastes. Whomever did the exterior and interior design has great taste and vision. The location of the villa is quite far from Dakar and in a rather remote area which is a pleasant departure from a city atmosphere. Very tranquil and I slept so well in a very comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The villa also provided transportation to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. The driver, Michel, is a very good driver, efficient and prompt. I cannot say enough good things about Villa Chanalu.

Maison de clara is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Ngaparou where guests can make the most of its infinity pool, fitness center, and open-air bath.

This hotel is absolutely charming! The rooms are a nice size. Clean with great air conditioning. We really appreciate the screens on the glass doors. The hotel is located 5 minutes from a beautiful beach. It has a lovely swimming pool and lounge areas with lots of character. The breakfast omeletts and crepes were very tasty. We highly recommend Maison de Clara.

I’m so glad I randomly stumbled upon this place to stay after leaving Dakar. Immediately upon entering everyone makes you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and clean. The pool and food are delicious. Owners are so kind and helpful. I hope to return one day to this calm place.

Friendly staff (hi Samuel!), good food on the upstairs terrace with a view on the sea, working A/C, they put me in touch with an excellent driver who charged a fair price, quiet (maybe because I was the only guest :), Wi-Fi was working I think, warm welcome and farewell, excellent value for money

Everything at Tama Lodge is finished to the highest standard. From the delicious restaurant, to the maintenance of the garden, and every little ornament placed in the rooms and on the lot. It’s truly a beautiful place, made even better by the welcoming staff and the locals of the area.
