It was our first time visiting Emerald, we stayed with Abode37. And we loved it that much we extended our stay. The owner was excellent very friendly and extremely accommodating. The girl serviced our room and left us extra towels. It was quite and cosy, we had so much space . The bed & pillows were super comfortable... Highly recommended stayed with Abode37 Motel Emerald. Thank you for a trip we won't forget.

It's a pleaseant town and the people are very friendly.
It's a pleaseant town and the people are very friendly. The botanic gardens are interesting.
The downside is that it really is so far from anywhere and takes hours to get there from the coast so you need a good reason to want to go.

Lots of free things to do including visiting the botanic gardens and big easel, also a great place to stay if you want to visit Sapphire and Rubyvale. There's a large variety of food options and accomodation

There is a lot to see in & around Emerald even if you have...
There is a lot to see in & around Emerald even if you have to travel a bit.
Go for a drive out to Lake Marraboon as it's very peaceful.
The Star Hotel & Marraboon Tavern do beautiful meals & you get a lot for your money.
It has a couple of shopping centers with everything you need plus some great cafes BUT you need to go to them before 2pm.
It's very easy to find your way around town.
Go for a drive out to Clermont as it has a lot of history & it's a lovely little country town.
your also close to Rubyvale, Sapphire & the Gemfields.
