Perfectly located for a quiet stay, with a great outlook and super comfy beds 😴. Wish we'd had more time to enjoy this lovely home, but our late arrival and early departure didn't allow it – maybe next time!

Great town - loved the blue lake and Umpherston.
Great town - loved the blue lake and Umpherston. Much to see. Gambier stone historic buildings throughout the town are beautiful. Picturesque natural sights. Surprised that the cave garden was in the centre of town. A pretty place. Best Bahn Mi for lunch. Stayed only one night, could have stayed a couple more.

We loved the surrounding countryside and cattle close by, the isolation of the accomodation. The rennovated ex- cellar door is clean, comfortable and well equipped. For those that like to get away from it all and are happy to walk, talk and enjoy nature.

Mount Gambier is a great town if you have a car or reliable...
Mount Gambier is a great town if you have a car or reliable transport. There are many incredible free activities and Geological sites. Various volcanic sites, Geological sites, Sinkholes, Clear water snorkel sites and Caves litter the surrounding areas. Mount Gambier doesn’t have many museums or activities, but has a vibrant Main Street. The visitor information centre has the best info on everything. Make sure to ask about snorkelling at ewens ponds and visiting Englebrecht cave!
