Loved that we were greeted by the owners, they seemed really intrigued to know where we had travelled. Loved that we had great wifi and Netflix was available for use. Super comfy recliners and beautiful view.

Little Bird is amazing. So much to look at, the owners have put so much love into this gorgeous place. Every nook and cranny has something special to look at. So much delicious food to enjoy. We felt wrapped up in so much comfort. We didn't want to leave, this is probably the most special place we have ever stayed in

This charming cottage is full of character and feels like you are walking into a warm hug. The view is worth a million, constantly changing throughout the day, but always beautiful. It is going to be a regular. Absolutely can't wait to go back.

Stayed a night, Visited Stanley on the way there (lunch at Marleys cafe) and did a tour to Woolnorth the next day. Woolnorth tour was interesting to learn about the windfarm and the history of the place. Great views from Gape Grim. Hugos brew and chew is a great liscenced cafe and we also sampled some Cape Grim short ribs at Kauri Bistro.

Food and drink was excellent. Short drive to Smithton for anything extra the town dosnt have you might need.

Lovely quaint town with a great selection of shops . People all very friendly had a great ice coffee and toastie at Hugos cafe . Shopped at both Woolworths and Iga both well equiped shops. Walking distance from Airbnb .

Beautiful beaches, we had dinner at Hursey restaurant is a must if you are in Stanley it was amazing. We stayed at the big 4 Stanley holiday park which was lovely gardens and grounds are well maintained. Cabins are super clean. Penguins come out at night and walk around the park though we only spotted one. We only stayed 2 nights.

Smithton was a good base to go to Marrawah and Stanley, you could also visit Cradle Mountain from being based at Smithton. It would be an easy destination to get back to. 3 nights stay in Smithton doing these destinations would be my recommendation being at Tei’s Place.

The obvious attraction is The Nut.
The obvious attraction is The Nut. You can either walk up or take the chairlift. The walk up is quite steep but well worth it. Walking the track around the top of The Nut is also worthwhile for the views. One other gem we found in Stanley was a very interesting wine bar. The entry from the road is a very unassuming door, but when you walk in it is like walking into another place and time. Well worth visiting for a unique experience . . . and of course a glass or two of wine !!
