Room was fantastic! Hotel guests have a dedicated person at all times to help with anything you need. Breakfast was amazing - our best yet in South America. Location was good, only 2 blocks from the main plaza. AC was great.

The staff were fantastic. Super helpful, really friendly and had lots of great advice. The beds were really comfortable and everywhere was really clean. I am returning there next week for a further night.

Santa Cruz de la Sierra is a gem of a city.
Santa Cruz de la Sierra is a gem of a city. People are very polite and warm.
Cost of living is very low and food excellent.
I would suggest you visit la Casa del Camba, a nice restaurant serving all types of traditional dishes.
Getting around the city is easy as city planners developed the road system using "anillos" or rings.
Beware of potholes around the city perimeters.

Not a big fan of large cities.
Not a big fan of large cities. Been to the airport in Santa Cruz dozens of times. Unless you need to go into city there are options outside of the city near airport. Sun Hotel and is good. Other options less so.

The travel agencies across this town works very inefficiently, this cost both time, money and jobs. I would have loved to pay for the private tour to Lomas, Ambrosa and the Inka, but as you know, nothing works properly in this town. The city itself is safe but boring.
