The downtown area is lovely for supper time-Dianes fish...
The downtown area is lovely for supper time-Dianes fish shack was good. Mia gelato was nice but pricey The lake Ontario park is amazing and definitely worth visiting, We did a boat cruise which was also super nice despite being overcrowded, Kingston is definitely a great place for a short getaway.

A true get away from it all. Marysville is a small town.
A true get away from it all. Marysville is a small town. Don't come here if you expect Starbucks and other big chains on the corner. Come if you want a small town, slow pace and friendly people. The Big Sandy Bay Conservation Area is a spot you cannot miss. Hit up the local golf course for a round and then head back into town for a great meal at the Wolfe Island Pizzeria and Pub. The bakery has some of the best cinnamon buns in the 613. Pack a picnic lunch and drive out to the "Foot" of the island and admire the stunning farmlands you pass along the way. It's definitely a spot to come back to again and again.

Downtown port and historical buildings are the best...
Downtown port and historical buildings are the best attractions as well as the haunted and ghost tours.
Kingston has a variety of good restaurants to offer.
Personally I loved the food in Grekos and Tir nan nog.
The downside of Kingston was the scattered site of homeless people and average people being on drugs.
In my opinion the mayor and the city council could work with the police and the government to clean the city and help these individuals. Obviously mental health is been neglected in Kingston.

Very small town but unique experience.
Very small town but unique experience. Glad we stayed here and saw the island. Having to use the ferry was a fun experience - different for us, but the locals use it daily! Beaches were beautiful. Limited dining options, but enough available. I'm sure its more crowded in the Summer, but we had no problems getting around, catching the ferry, parking for the beach etc.. in September.

You really have a sense that people are feeling comfortable, safe and at home with the cleanliness of the streets, beautiful, well-maintained flowers and fun, interactive displays. Good selection of moderately priced food. The road parking fee was average cost ($2.00 per hour with a maximum of 3 hours) and was ample time to stroll and discover the area. We
