The host was extremely friendly and caring. House was new, clean and comfortable. Place was easy to find although best to have a rental car for convenience of traveling. Fridge was spacious and large.

Tai’inu Bungalows was just perfect. Located close to the Base 1 snorkeling site, we enjoyed snorkeling and seeing gorgeous fish each day. It’s was a quick walk to the beach and to Cecil Hut for take away meals.
Our hosts, Vaea and Marokii were exceptional. Vaea communicated well via email prior to our trip answering questions speedily. She also provided helpful tips for our visit. Marokii met us at our other accommodation with gorgeous flower leis and drove us to the market to purchase groceries for our stay. He also provided a large container of drinking water and came a second time to help us when we were running out of water.
Marokii has a taxi service and gave us transport to the Pacific Resort for happy hour. He also has a boat transport business to take visitors to local motus and or on private snorkeling trips. They were gracious hosts and made our stay so comfortable. The bungalow was beautifully decorated. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water, though a cool shower was welcome with the weather. We had all we needed to enjoy paradise on Aitutaki.

Great location and value for money.
Great location and value for money. Clean and comfortable with excellent wifi connection. Niki organised our scooter rentals with no issues and readily available to answer any questions we may have and offer options for activities in Aitutaki. Our transfers to and from the Airport was done by Jeremiah who was friendl, very helpful and informative. A great place for family wanting budget accommodation in a convenient location.

The cook Islander people are the happiest friendliest people on earth. Aitutaki is the most beautiful island surrounded by equally beautiful islands with the clearest water I've ever seen. The island is so clean with no rubbish anywhere. The locals respect their paradise and take great care of the land and the sea. The snorkelling here is next level with the day trip to the other islands a must do for anyone who comes to visit. The island is so quiet with very little traffic. It is so relaxing and the perfect holiday to relax and recharge.

Did not stay in Arutanga itself but over on Ootu Beach.The location of Ootu beach here was very nice. Easily walkable to other eating facilities for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very close to the airport but little noise because of so few planes. The dock for Bishop's cruises was only about a hundred yards away from Aitutaki Village. Koru Cafe was our favorite place to eat across from Ootu Beach.

It is a beautiful island located in a large amazing lagoon.
It is a beautiful island located in a large amazing lagoon. It has some lovely beaches and plenty of good eating places. It is only a 40 minute flight from Rarotonga. It is very quiet compared to Rarotonga and is extremely easy to get around.
