The property was very clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location, especially for an airport stay. It’s super close to the airport, but surprisingly the planes were not very loud. The neighborhood felt safe, clean, and very walkable, with good restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Everything in the house worked well overall, and it was perfect for a short overnight stay before an early flight. I would definitely stay here again for airport access and convenience.

It turns out the Cartagena airport is in a nice neighborhood. This apartment is an 7 minute easy walk to the airport - both Jorge Jr and Sr are super helpful and accommodating, the place is super fresh and clean. Can’t recommend enough!!

This is the perfect spot for a no-frills traveler who just needs a place to stay before catching a flight. It was immaculately clean, quiet, there was coffee in the coffee maker, and the host was very accommodating to my early flight departure. It was an easy three-block walk to the airport.

Wonderful city, always ready to be redicovered! It has history, flavour, and a magic charm that does not disappoint. It is important, however, for travellers to plan well/ carefully and be mindful of the fact it is not cheap and one can so easily be overcharged. I would advise visitors to go on a walking tour and enrol in a cooking class, that way they can actually learn more about the city and explore beyond the glitz.

Cartagena impresses first and foremost by being the only city in South America completely surrounded by a city wall. The Old Town captivates visitors with its blend of Spanish colonial style and Caribbean zest for life. The Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas and the skyline of modern Cartagena at night are also impressive sights.

Tierra Bomba was a short 10-minute boat ride from Cartegena. It was situated on a long private beach with plenty of daybeds to choose from. The rooms were spacious and close to the pool/beach/restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. On our final night, we upgraded to the Private Villa with a Private pool and it was WELL WORTH IT! The private courtyard was beautiful and the pool was refreshing. The room was huge, comfortable and came with an outdoor bathroom.

The historic town is nice.
The historic town is nice. Certainly the historical places are great. The local people simply kill most of the enjoyment. You have to pay attention 24/7 just not to get ripped off. They are always trying to overcharge you with hidden touristic fees or overly inflated prices. Also, it is hard to find a hotel or a restaurant that is reasonably clean.
We simply did not enjoy as we expected, but mainly because of the local people.
