It was a beautiful comfortable home with a lovely interior and very good for relaxing and doing family activities such as cooking,watching tv or washing clothes etc. There is a lot of construction all around and on top although the construction on the second floor wasn't active during the stay. There is a store nearby. The place is amazing, just the location is something to think about.

The house was very comfy. The openers were very helpful in finding tours and things to do. The Terrace was nice to sit and relax and read. Location is close to the center without all the noise of bars. The doggie(charlotte) was wonderful. Nice bathroom.

The town is just the right size.
The town is just the right size. You can walk everywhere easily. Yet, there’s plenty of great restaurants. The people are great. They were very friendly and helpful and really seemed to enjoy telling us about their wonderful island. The lighting at night is really beautiful and after a great dinner you can stroll at night without fear. Really nice. All the sea lions are back at the beach and are so entertaining. We just loved it.

We loved the unrushed, calm feeling around town. There are a few good eateries and some not so good, but all in all there's something for everyone. We were on holiday after an illness so were not looking for excursions, simply a chance to rest and recover and that's what San Cristobal gave us. Would we return? Yes! Although perhaps at an establishment closer to town.

The interpretation center is also a good place to visit, not only the museum displays but also the hiking to the hills for panoramic views of the ocean, yes, you can see Kicker Rock with naked eyes, but also to the beaches free of guides.
Best of all is the 360 tour to fully enjoy the beauties of the island.

-we did a few tours that were excellent
-a bike tour at night with Marcello, he was amazing
-did a 360 degree tour with Big Fish, very well organized, full day, felt it was well priced
-took a one day flight to Isabella Island, expensive but all worth it

Such a lovable and sweet place. Not much going on during the night but if you‘d like to enter in contact with the nature, see incredible sunsets, meet nice people and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, this is your place.

San Cristobal offers so much to do.
San Cristobal offers so much to do. Some of our favourite places were snorkelling at Kicker Rock, hiking up to Frigatebird Hill, watching the sunset at Playa Mann, snorkelling and Punta Carole and Playa Baquerizo. The interpretation centre is super informative and a really nice play to have a walk around. The whole island is abundant with sea lions which is a fun alternative to people watching. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip which vary in terms of price range. It was super easy to get around San Cristobal. Some our favourite spots to eat were: Cri's Burgers, Sea Garden, The Pier, Seafood Casa, El Descanso Marinero.
