The place has a comfortable location at a stone’s throw from shopping malls, the airport, the bus station, and the city center. The shower was hot. The bedlinnen was clean and nice. I think I had the most comfortable pillows. The only thing I needed was an extra thick duvet.

Very good stay near the airport. Ideal for the late arrivals and the early departures. Room has everything for a comfortable short stay. I also liked that it is possible to open the window and let in the fresh air at night.

Location and Transport

Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport is located just over 2 miles (4 kilometres) from Tallinn city centre. Tram #4 runs between the city and the airport, with a stop right next to the airport terminal. Between Monday and Saturday, trams run from 05:25 to 00:45. On Sundays, the first tram will depart at 05:45. The journey takes around 15 minutes.

That everything in the apartment worked beautifully and was modern. I had everything there that I needed how do I wanted to stay permanently. The city itself was safe and very close to the airport. If I could afford to live here I would buy an apartment there :-)

I sadly booked my stay in Tallinn at the end of my European trip, and knowing what I now know, would have changed to stay MUCH longer. Tallinn is a beautiful city with a rich history, diverse neighborhoods, and friendly people. I enjoyed staying in the Old Town, which is the perfect European Old Town full of cute streets with amazing spots that it spoils you from other areas of the city. For the Old Town, I can highly recommend Olde Hansa, which is touristy but between the food and experience worth it; Rataskaevu 16, which was a delicious modern meal in a historic building; Veino, a wine bar with over 450 bottles, a gorgeous interior space and a cute patio space that fills up; Hell Hunt, a great beer bar offering their own beers, a massive selection of others in bottle or on draft, a cool pub house, but also a great outdoor space; Karu Talu Šokolaad, known for their massive cookies; and SAI!, an amazing sandwich shop all year round. And all this is just a few blocks in Old Town, take their affordable an easy public transportation to get to Kalamaja or Maarjamäe Castle.

A fascinating town with great historical value.

A fascinating town with great historical value. Kadriorg Palace, east of the Old Town, is also a must‑see. Many parts of Tallinn outside the Old Town are worth visiting for their distinctive modern style. This includes Rotermanni, Noblessner, and Telliskivi, with its adjacent Kalamaja district known for its old wooden houses, which make for a very pleasant walk.

A very compact city to walk around but arrive early to avoid...

A very compact city to walk around but arrive early to avoid crowds, especially when two or three cruise liners disgorge their passengers. Plenty of open spaces an museums - can be worthwhile to explore using the trams and getting to see the wider area outside the centre.
