We loved the location - such a great base for the first few days in the Faroes. The cottage had everything we needed, and there were so many small details, like hand knit slippers. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds - waking up to such a gorgeous view was just so lovely.

Excellent location in Sørvágur, very convenient for exploring Vágar and using public transport (3 bus stops within walking distance, with timetables available next to the staircase). The ferry to Mykines is just steps away. The house has a lot of charm and a cozy atmosphere. You're basically staying in someone's home, as the owners live downstairs. The shared living room has some books available (mainly in Danish), while the dining room features a large map of the Faroes as well as island maps and guides. There are also some board games to choose from. The beds were comfortable and the shared kitchen is very well equipped for cooking simple meals. The view from the kitchen and dining room over the bay is beautiful, especially with the changing Faroese weather and spectacular tides. The binoculars available for guests were a lovely touch for watching the landscape and seabirds. I also appreciated the easy self check-in.

Everything! The host was very friendly she helped us with everything we needed, home is huge and bas everything you might need during your trip! Especially in love with the living room with the view and huge windows and kitchen that had literally everything you might need. We loved this place and if i ever come back to Faroes i am definitely staying there again
