The best location, hotel, restaurant and staff! Absolutely loved staying here. The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant is also great. And you cannot beat the view from the restaurant/lounge.

Every thing is nice. Our family enjoy the stay there. The owner can arrange the airport transportation and tour with nice price. There are two WC inside. I recommend to take the whale watching, it is really a nice boat for your own family (4people). The owner also help us to deal with the delay of our flight. Many thanks.

It has beautiful view of the icebergs. The apartment is very spacious. It is only 10 min walk to town and very convenient to the tour spots. Mike was helpful and kind. He helped us pre book taxi and let us use the shed to store luggage on our checkout date.

Amazing scenery. Bucket list adventures.
Amazing scenery. Bucket list adventures. Highly recommend for those who seek adventure and love the outdoors. However, if you like picture perfect towns, not for you. Look past that, ilulissat will get there and feel lucky that you get to visit before the rest of the word discovers this little gem. Very expensive for trips and eating out. Highly recommend Hotel Hvide Falk for amazing food and staff and Albatros Arctic for really knowledgeable staff who know how to go the extra mile!!

Great place to visit the local history museum and to view...
Great place to visit the local history museum and to view Eqi Glacier. Also the ice fyord, unesco protected site.
Also to try some Greenlandic dishes at Inuit cafe Restaurant. This restaurant has been entered into my little book of places worth revisiting!

It is likely that during Disco bay icefjiord experience...
It is likely that during Disco bay icefjiord experience you'll see the wales, so a separate trip to watch wales may not be needed. The icefiord remains the most impressive thing to see from a walking distance and also from a boat. Eqi glacier is nice, but less impressive and takes a long time to go there. Icefiord center is an interesting site to visit, as you'll pass the sledge dog keeping site along the way. Do not touch or try to intervene with digs, as this my end lethaly for... them. I found the place terrible for dogs... and any animals in general, as they are kept on chain. However, it is par of the culture and that's something interesting to see.
