We have recently returned from a wonderful stay at Varos Village Boutique Hotel which we chose, based on the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed. The hotel occupies an excellent position close to the airport ( 5 minutes driving) the majority of the significant tourist sights in Lemnos. All the staff are a credit to the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. But special praise must go to reception and breakfast team who always went the extra mile with a smile. Breakfast has a wide choice of hot and cold buffet. Our suite was extremely quiet and unique enjoying all the facilities inside, combines tradition with luxury in its round shape! If we were to visit Lemnos again, we would not stay anywhere else!

Everything is very good, the place is nice and quite and close to northern beaches that we liked the most. Goerge is very kind, we were searching for thyme honey that is very popular here and he ordered for us from a friend of him!

I liked the view from the balcony, we could see the beautiful sunset and the distance to the beach that was so close you could see and hear the sound of the waves.
Also we are very satisfied that they're pet friendly. Thank you for this, it's hard to find.

The room was so small, we could barely move to go to the...
The room was so small, we could barely move to go to the bathroom. There was no balcony.
The room was at the second floor. Everytime someone would close the front door downstairs or climb the staircase, the room was shaking, as an earthquake was taking place!
But the worse of all was that the third night, because of the rain, the roof was leaking and our things that were near the wall were all wet. When I called the person responsible and explained the situation, he said that he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do and that he would fix the damage in October!!! I tried contacting Booking, they responded the next day, sending impersonal apologies and asking for evaluation. We left the room the next day, although we have booked for four more nights, which were of course charged, like we were there. Noone from the room was ever bothered to call.

This is a graphic seaside village with traditional houses and taverns and a small port for fishing and sailing boats, in a rural area with beautiful surrounding scenery, with many clean sandy beaches nearby with crystal clear waters,. It is quiet and peaceful, an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate, from spring to summer.

The gorgeous Gomati beach beach, the fantastic Flomari...
The gorgeous Gomati beach beach, the fantastic Flomari tavern and the magical Ammothines sand dunes are all a few minutes’ drive away. The house is otherwise secluded and tranquil, very comfortable with a large garden and terrace. You can see a dense Milky Way during moonless nights. Good hiking trails. If you like nature, peace and quiet, I have not seen a better spot in my extensive travels in the Aegean. Joanna is incredibly friendly and helpful and makes you feel at home. Great choice!

The Military Museum was a very good introduction to the WW1 history of the area and the guide there was very helpful. New signage at sites of significance were also helpful. The local people were very friendly and accommodating.
