We stayed for one night at Aerhotel Phelipe and had a great experience. The staff was excellent and very helpful, and we were also provided with a parking space, which was very convenient. The breakfast was fantastic, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. Overall, a very pleasant stay — highly recommended.

It was perfect stay, just 5 mins from the train station with easy access to the airport(bus every half an hour). They also provided some simple breakfast and coffee that was a great start of the day. Private room has bathroom and A/C, and you have access to the kitchen, shared with only one other room (it was empty during my stay) It was a really comfortable place and the bed was amazing

La Casetta is a great place to stay: spacious, with comfortable furnishings and a bright terrace. The bathroom was sparkling clean; all the necessary toiletries were provided. There was the possibility to use the washing machine, which is useful when you travel with children. We loved the kitchen, which was bright and well-equipped. There are two bedrooms, with lots of space to store things. The owner Romina is a warm, friendly person, easy to communicate with. Upon departure, my husband left some items behind, so she notified us quickly and arranged for our friend to collect them. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we hope to come back one day.

Lamezia Terme left a good impression, even though we didn’t spend much time there for a more detailed experience. It seems like a pleasant and practical place, especially convenient due to its proximity to the airport.
The atmosphere is relaxed, with friendly locals and a nice mix of everyday life and coastal charm. It feels like a good base for exploring the surrounding area. From what we saw, it’s a comfortable and welcoming place, even for a short stay.

Awesome view, however the water was too cold and the beach by the water is full of pebbles. The depth drops fast . There are no stores near by and the taxis charge an arm and a leg, therefore, rent a car if you wasn’t to stay longer

Lamezia Terme is not exactly a hot spot. There is not much within walking distance. (Although the Bram Hotel was wonderfully close to the train station and the airport.)
There is a dearth of available transport. The first couple of days we did ok with Uber, (although Google directions were terrible and our dirvers got lost a lot.)
Because there was a train strike during our stay, we opted to go to the local mall one day. We got there ok with Uber but could not get back to our hotel. (A fifteen minute car ride away.)
There was no taxi service either. We had to call the hotel to send someone to pick us up and bring us back. This cost 25 euros.
We became so gun shy about going anywhere that we stayed close to the hotel after this.
Also, there is virtually no Wifi anywhere, so if you do not want to rack up roaming charges and you are from another country, you had better get a local Sim card for your phone.
In all, I would not return to Lamezia Terme.

Small Italian town.
Small Italian town. We have prior been further down the coast for 8 days, where it was much busiest. These were our last 2 days. We had chosen it because of the proximity of the airport. It was a perfect relaxing ending to our holiday.

After ryan air changed our flight time we needed a hotel near to airport - this was perfect position. We arrived quite late but managed to get in ok even though it was raining . Room was clean and tidy, balcony overlooking station but quiet. Would stay again if we needed hotel in lamezia. Only downside was we didn't get info for automated entrance until quite late in the afternoon - only got message just as we were boarding. Appreciated the kettle unfortunately no cups but as the station bar next door was open till late managed to get some paper ones after travelling needed a cup of tea.!!!

S. Eufemia is a small town with a lot of restaurants, pizzerias and few supermarkets, pharmacy and clothes, accessories shops, cafes and hotels.
It is located less than 5 minutes drive/bus from the Lamezia Terme Airport and Marinella beach, few minutes by walk from Lamezia Centrale station.
You can easily jump on a Regionale or intercity train and if you're lucky with a discounted weekend ticket or weekly ticket with Trenitalia, you can explore all Calabria coast from Reggio Calabria to Praia a Mare.
As well as if you rent a car you can explore the picturesque mountain villages only 20/30 minutes away for traditional food and local produces, as well as the peace and tranquillity of the woods and nature around them.

My family is from Gizzeria so I am probably biased.
My family is from Gizzeria so I am probably biased. The area fairly unspoiled by tourism but there are still lots of restaurants in the area. Some of them are real gems, especially if you like authentic Italian foods and plenty of sea food. There are a few tourist activities, like quad bikes, but not that many. If you want great beaches, this is the place to go! Not a lot of shopping in the area and the nearest mall is probably 10 - 15 miles away. Relying on public transport is probably not a good idea. A hire car is a better option as they're available fairly cheaply. Some beautiful scenery, especially the mountains.
