Excellent location accessible directly from the train station. Spacious, clean, well appointed room . Excellent amenities and bath robe provided. Large bathroom with bathtub and fancy shower. The breakfast buffet had many choices from local specialties to western breakfast choices including freshly made onigiri. Great value for the reasonable price. Absolutely will come back !

This hotel is one of the most hospitable hotels in all of Japan. Having travelled extensively, I can say that this hotel outshines the rest by the all means. An excellent spread of local cuisine at breakfast, a wide variety of tea/pastries during the tea time (when one needed tea especially because of the cold weather) and a jaw dropping dinner buffet with extraordinary staff. We had the best experience at the breakfast buffet mostly because of Jyo. Jyo spoke english and went above and beyond to accomodate the dietary needs of my child. She was always warm and extended her hand when we were struggling to plan our 'snowy' day. Thank you Jyo for all that you did for us. The staff at the reception is also very warm. Hospitality is crucial in the hotel industry because it transforms basic accommodation into memorable, positive experience, driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business, while also building strong brand reputation. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

The room is great, very large, tastefully and innovatively furnished. The shower is great, as is the kitchen. The quality of the towels is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets are of a high standard. The room is very well-appointed and beautiful.

The house was very homey and comfortable. Host added all the little things which made our stay very comfortable like Japanese lollies to share. Instructions of using the appliances were clear. Host also added things to eat and do around the place.

The view of the mountains and houses was nice. I saw the sunset. Room was clean and comfortable. During the hot hours of the day, I felt tempted to stay in my room. Wifi was stable. Amenities were available for me to take from the first floor lobby, including bath salts, which I enjoyed as well!

I like the relaxed pace of Akita.
I like the relaxed pace of Akita. Learn about local history at the Akita City Folk Arts Center and Senshu Park; visit the art museums and explore Akita Arts Theatre Mille Has. I think it's also a great place to rent a car and drive out to the Oga Peninsula, or to one of the many onsen ryokan, or to Lake Tazawa. The scenery is beautiful, people are friendly and the food is hearty and comforting. Take the Shinkansen to Kakunodate and see the restored samurai residences in the cherry blossoms or the fall colors, and you can even try wearing kimono or take a rickshaw ride with a local guide. Don't forget to stop for Michinoku Pudding before getting back on the Shinkansen.

We parked at Times Parking next to Crown Plaza hotel and the parking lot charged us 3200 yen for over nigh parking. We found not place to clarify why such high as the signage said maximum was 700 yen for over night.
I booked a counter table in 长屋酒场， but they offered sitting on tatami
with a few small tables... eating for 1-2 hours... just not comfortable. we left early and found not so good experience.

My only purpose to come to Akita was to visit the Shrine of our Lady of Akita. The famous tears shedding statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I'm a catholic. That was my personal pilgrimage.
I love Akita. People are polite and honest. They arr vwey helpful and try their best to communicate in English.
The place is very clean and peaceful. I love to live here.
