Its just five minutes away from the airport. Actually I walked to the place and took me 25 minutes. It is very clean room and comfortable with all amenities available. The owner, Arthur was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Everything this was a perfect property for us wrapping our St. Lucian vacation. It was amazing to stay in a residential area and get away from the tourist sites. We were able to walk to the soccer field and grocery store. The AC was amazing full Kitchen. Everything that we needed.
Host was perfect and arranged transport to the airport

We stayed at Royalton because is was just around the corner but some taxi-drivers were asking to much for the ride
The beach was nice at Royalton and it was all-inclusive

The Cap Estate has amazing villas and is the most upmarket part of the island. There are luxurious hotels in the Cap Estate so you can easily dine out in the hotels and experience their facilities. It is a 10 minute drive to Rodney Bay, if you want a night out in the bars and restaurants or if you wish to go shopping in the arcades. It was easy to get around the Cap Estate as the roads are fine but there are a few pot holes.

Catstries is very exciting in the day.
Catstries is very exciting in the day. I went to the beach and there is alot of duty free shopping as well as the Castries Market which had an amazing array of local craft items, as well as the Castries Arcade. The beach was a short distance away and there are various types of activities at the beach, including horseback riding. The restaurant at the beach was really good. Castries also has some really fantastic viewing points where you can see the real beauty of the city. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Castries. The evening is a bit quiet but I got some good recommendations from the host, for dinner in Castries

A semi-urbanized part of St Lucia with little character.
A semi-urbanized part of St Lucia with little character. The traffic to get into or by Castries is horrendous. Best to stay in the North or South of the island where there are better beaches and more nature.

The beach is very nice; the southern end is quieter with shallower waters.
The mall has a lot of different eating options and a large supermarket. Most of the tourists speak English and English is the language of the island.
You can take day cruises from Rodney Bay Marina

A great location which is peaceful and clean. Not far from the sea and the scenery is beautiful. Friendly locals make you feel welcome. For local amenities (groceries and shopping) you will need a taxi, if not driving (short drive). Entertainment is also close by for a great night out.

If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet Street Party, make sure you negotiate the price for a round trip. Make SURE you emphasize round trip. Some taxi men are so money hungry and will give you a price of round trip, but then try and tell you they meant one way. DON'T let them do that. Get clear clarification for your round trip.

Great restaurants both local and European menus.
Great restaurants both local and European menus. Keebees is a great place to eat in Gros Islet and attending the Friday night Street Party and sample some of the cuisines on sale - one of my favourite meals is the lambie or fresh fish.
Bay Gardens- Excellent hotel and very helpful staff and what an amazing Manager Ms Gustave is. She is very attentive with the clients of the hotel and nothing is too much to ask of her and her staff. I love returning to Bay Gardens Hotel because every time I return the experience is a step above my previous stay there. A hotel I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit St Lucia. The hotel is centrally located and the additional amenities at the hotel is excellent too. Also great entertainment.
