This review is the most difficult I ever did. The reason is that I felt that the boat was advertised as better than it was, and there were definitely shortcomings. Overall it was great to sleep on a boat, and it makes for good stories. What I did like was that it was very clean, the speed of the owner in answering, the location on a canal, a direct parking space directly at the boat, and that it had the basic accessories for living on it. Furthermore, what we really appreciated, was that the owner gave us a fan to get some air moving.

Fantastic location, by the side of the lake, with a huge garden and lots of seating outside. We only spent one night as we were walking the Pieterpad, but there are also lots of activities around that seemed very cool too. The B&B owner was super friendly and there's a lot of info available for restaurants in the area. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Beautifully located alongside the Paterswoldse ponds, you can find the luxurious 4-star Fletcher Familiehotel Paterswolde .

Although not very big, the little house is very comfortable for two, clean, with well functioning facilities. The house is located in front of a large lawn, with small woods nearby. On a beautiful sunny day, it is extremely relaxing. In the morning, sometimes, deers could be seen at the edge of the woods. It is a fantastic place for vacation. The hosts are very friendly. They brought us a full box coffee, when we asked for more.

The location is nice, but it's a bit like camping. The cottages are really not prepared for 35°C + heat (but I guess they're not supposed to), which in combination with mosquitos made it for a less comfortable stay
