The superb breakfast once included a full fish personally delivered to your private table. The cosy room is spotless. On hand is a good shower and toilet. Yvon, Selena and family are tremendous hosts, but you still have your privacy.
The warmth of the greeting as Yvon meets you at the airport in his boat cannot be faulted. If desired, he will also take you, for a reasonable price, on a half-day lagoon tour, snorkelling with Manta rays, small sharks etc. Also included is free bike usage. And you're close to Tarona restaurant, the centre of the island's social life. Maupiti is what laid back is all about. A real Polynesian experience. Don't miss it or Hei Maurua

The hosts were so welcoming. The property was right on the water and every evening you could see spectacular sunsets. There were bicycles and kayaks available for use. The location was excellent to get to the amenities of the town as well as to the beach.

Our stay at Penu Maurua has been excellent! All the facilities were clean and comfortable, plus a nice breakfast. Bicycles are available at the property making it super convenient. A big thanks to Alain and Mate for their welcome and making us feel home. They have been super helpful preparing the breakfast at arranging times, offering activities and dropping us to the ferry on a last minute request !
