PortugalThe place was great. Nice facilities, shared kitchen had everything you needed in it. Room was big and bathroom clean with clean towels and bedding. There was a washing machine and a laundromat close by for drying( there are drying racks available)
They have a pool and a shared BBq area will definitely be great during summer. Ricardo is the Portuguese Superman, even after hurting his head he still ran up and down stairs to get things done, big hats off to Ricardo!! Amazing person.
Everything was explained perfectly with clear instructions and videos. Awesome people, 1000% recommend to anyone coming to Cascais.

It's a cosy little apartment, very well situated, with a lovely large patio, garden with swimming pool. However, being at the garden level I was surprised at how dark it was during the daytime. The kitchen and bathroom definitely need an upgrade for the price they are asking. Overall, a comfortable place for a short visit.

Please see what I have already said in the previous questionnaire! Overall, it was excellent - in terms of location, proximity to the ocean & beach, to cafes and restaurants, shops & pharmacy (just across the road), and - if relevant - to the NOVA Business chool.

Lovely town, easy to get around, some lovely restaurants.
Lovely town, easy to get around, some lovely restaurants. Maybe a bit quiet if staying a while. But while saying that the train station is one stop away to Caiscais where is there a much bigger selection of bars/restaurants/shops. Also direct train to Lisbon which I would recommend for a day. Ubers very easy to order.

Parede is a nice little town with good supermarkets and close to the railway station which takes you to Lisbon in one direction and Cascais in the other which makes it nice and central.
Parede is my go to place when I come to Portugal as it is mainly the local Portuguese population with very few tourists who tend to favour the busier places of Lisbon and Cascais.,

We did not see much of Carcavelos other than the restaurants near the flat and the beach. The reason was that we had Carcavelos as our basis from which we made trips to Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Cabo da Roca, ..

A trip confined to Estoril would be centered round the Casino, Tamariz beach and a couple of decent eateries.
But it's an ideal location to access Lisbon by train, and Cascais on foot which is a 30/35 mins walk along the front and less than 10 euro Uber back.
Best of both worlds - Drink and eat in the madness that is Cascais, sleep and recover in quite Estoril!

Nice quite town.
Nice quite town. We were staying near by the train station. quite a few shops and restaurants with great seafood selection, cafeteria, pharmacy around. chinese mini supermarket where you can buy anything you can imagine (non food), walk to the beach is about 7min

Know the area well, but it has changed over the years, and at the beach, during crowded periods, you need to be aware all the time. Very pleasant to take a walk in the am, but way too many people with dogs that do not clean up after their pets.

There were two issues that were not quite good.
There were two issues that were not quite good. One, the air conditioning was not working properly; one night it was too cold and the other 6 nights it did not work at all. Secondly, the shower was very slippery. I almost fell and slightly hurt my foot trying to prevent a fall.
Other than that, everything else was extraordinary.

Parede is halfway between Cascais And Lisbon city centre.
Parede is halfway between Cascais And Lisbon city centre. Perfect 15min train ride for Nos Alive festival located in Alges.
Riccardo owns the seadood restataurant next door. Behind the housing is a strip of shows and coffee shops and Parede beach is easy 5 min walk.
