Great hotel right near the airport. The staff was super nice and helpful, and offered the family an upgrade to a great room. Quite a complete breakfast as well, and a shuttle to the airport if needed (it is walking distance, but bags may require it).

The recently renamed Lisbon Humberto Delgado Airport (formerly Lisbon Portela Airport) is located 4 miles (7 kilometres) from the city centre. An efficient public transportation system ensures passengers arrive quickly and comfortably. Hop on the Aeroporto-Saldanha Metro to downtown Lisbon, catch a local bus, or travel directly to your destination on the Airport Shuttle. Alternatively, take a taxi, which will go by a meter and should cost around EUR 12.

Was handy for the airport, only 10 minutes. The host, Wagner , arranged a taxi for me for the following morning. I bought some food and prepared in the kitchen so didn't have time to look around Camarate.

We did not choose to stay in Sacavém to 'see' Sacavém. We rented a car and wanted something close to the airport. We used the car rental to visit other places in Portugal. Although, the host recommended Courela do Fouguete restaurant was awesome albeit little English.

ocation with parking in lot in front of building, cleanliness, friendliness of hosts. Great to have the elevator to the floor 2 apartment to bring the suitcases up and down so that they could be organized and packed for the trip home. Ana and Jorge provide clean, comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Perfect for the last night close to the airport before leaving Lisbon the next morning; twenty minute drive to the airport. In the double room with bathroom, a small alcove with refrigerator, hot water pot, and table was convenient to have a glass of wine in the evening and a quick snack in the morning.
Disliked · Only room in Portugal that did not supply a hairdryer. Perhaps it was so that the sound would not disturb neighboring guests, as it is a room in an apartment.

The apartment is very spacious and only 10 minutes from the airport, which is super convenient. There are two large shopping malls nearby, ideal for shopping and dining. The atmosphere is calm, fresh, and peaceful. The apartment was spotless, and the host was always very communicative, helpful, and attentive making our stay perfect.

I like the feel of Lisbon, it is scenic had lots of activities. I was just disappointed that at the time we had a few excursions cancelled particularly visit to Pena Palace due to the heat, which is no ones fault - just means I need to go back which I definitely want to do.

Family home, private and comfortable room, clean and with everything we needed to rest after missing our flight. For the price we paid, it was fair. Nothing fancy, the bathroom was clean with hot water for a shower, and there was also toilet paper and shower gel. We notified the owners by message when booking that we would arrive at 9 pm. They were friendly, and we parked our car for free on the side street, not on the main street. We would definitely stay there again

Camarate is a quiet and green place, sorrounded by olive trees, flowers and bushes. The house is clean and it has many facilities, we could have breakfast home and eat the rest of meal in a quiet atmosphere. Nice place to sleep well, after a long day visiting the city

beautiful centre, mosaic tiles, pretty streets, nice cafes with delicious food. enjoyed castle area in alfama and area around rua garrett. very hot at shore but a definite must. we took a boat to belem which is beautiful. the church was free and a short queue. the cloisters a longer wait in the heat so didnt do that. very hot day with less shelter than the centre of lisbon. everything looked clean, was cheaper and better quality than in UK. trees are magnificent. lovely square at placa principe. everything is an easy walk despite being nicely hilly. transport available for those who need help. locals friendly and not too in your face. lovely lollipops. bus trips good. modern lisbon one was very interesting. some amazing modern architecture.

The apartment had plenty of towels, all the kitchen essentials to cook meals, very bright and well decorated. Attention to details was outstanding. It felt very homely, we had access to things like an iron , portable heaters were provided on request plus plenty of blankets to keep warm. Little things like olive oil, sugar, basic condiments and seasonings were available in the kitchen.The owner was responsive, flexible and accommodating. It was an amazing experience overall and will definitely book again .
