Hotels near Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT), Gothenburg

We were only here for overnight. We had a very early flight and wanted someplace to rest before flying home. There was a bathroom/shower that was shared between 4 rooms, Restaurants within 2 miles that were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Directions to go to the "gray" building would have been helpful.

I can’t thank the staff enough. It was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Everyone was amazing and incredibly helpful. We received the room we had requested on the quieter side of the hotel, although the entire property turned out to be surprisingly peaceful given its location opposite a busy airport, just a three- to four-minute walk away. The view from our room exceeded all expectations, as did the hotel overall. Looking out onto the forest with its tall pine trees created a calm and tranquil atmosphere, beautifully contrasted with the sight of planes lifting into the sky. The room itself felt so homely and impeccably clean that I kept expecting to notice something that might disturb the sense of calm, perhaps a flea bite or some small nuisance that often comes with being so close to a forest. But no, nothing of the sort. Not a single bite. We slept through the night comfortably, free from any disturbances or insects, in a wonderfully cosy bed. The peaceful atmosphere extended to the restaurant, where the carefully chosen lighting and design added to both the architectural and psychological sense of ease. Breakfast deserves special mention. It had everything one could want, whether vegetarian, pescatarian or carnivorous, and everyone would easily find their preferred options. My child went back several times until he was satisfied, and I especially loved the salmon.  For coffee lovers, there is a very good selection available at breakfast. However, if you prefer to have coffee in your room, I would suggest bringing some with you, as the in-room supply is limited. At least cups and a kettle are provided. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, which became a cherished part of our holiday experience. Next time we are in Sweden, which we certainly will be since we have relatives there, we will be sure to stay with you again on our way home.

This is a very nice little house in the back garden of a private property. It has lights outside with motion sensors so it is easy for coming and going and it gives a sense of security as well. You have everything you need there but you will have to have a car to get there since it is quite suburban. The host is very positive and helpful so you'll easily find your way there and you'll have a free and secure parking spot. There is no kitchen to cook, but you have a nice fridge, coffee machine along with cups and glasses.

There are not enough words to describe the joy we had during these days. Arriving at the premises is already an amazing first contact. Entering the main building, even with the bad weather on day of arrival, but the very very very friendly staff and the view over the lake made the day sunny anyhow, despite nature giving us bad weather. The rooms are great. Every building has its own lounge, with games for all, with a pool table. Here you could relax and eat and drink. But the restaurant is good as well. With a lunch buffet. Fantastic FANTASTIC breakfast. And everytime again, with this amazing view!!! The bathroom looks simple, but the showever is the best we have every occured. I cry from joy and happiness while writing this, and sadness we will leave within an hour. Yes we cleared the room, but still stay here enjoying the, did I mention this before the view, the friendly staff the available food and drinks. It is an experience we will never forget. We will talk about this event with our (grand)children. And we will come back for sure. Thank you Aspenäs Herrgård for giving us this against such a reasonable price. The service you provided us is unmatched. I stop typing now. But we love you.

The following made our stay very uncomfortable 1- Even after the reminder of the late check out, the manager came to the door, took me out and ask me to leave. Her name was Tuva and very unpolite. She did say that I will call the security you don't leave. When I said I will also call the police than she mellow down and agreed our check out at 2:30pm. Never i have faced this situation in Europe or any where elese 2- The beds are uncomfortable. The matters slips out of the bed. 3- The AC wasn't working 4- The temperature of the room was very uncomfortable 5- No phones in the room to communicate with the hotel staff

I liked that I felt like I was coming home to a very functional and well equipped and well stocked kitchen as well as living space with huge flatscreen TV and cozy couches. It was quiet and very close to the airport.

I stayed at the hotel because I had an early flight, so I preferred to be close to the airport instead of taking a 30 minutes car ride. I did not eat at the hotel restaurant, but from what I saw during breakfast it should be a good place to take lunch or dinner. I had to take breakfast before 4 AM; option available between 3:30 AM to 4:30 AM is continental breakfast. Although hotel calls it "continental", there are meany options available, including fruits (small selection), cheeese, and ham.

Only the price and the fact I had my own bathroom were good. For the rest: old facilities, dirty carpets in the corridors, old and useless furniture which made the room look very small, a bath tub form a film of the 1950s (to be generous) which leaked water everywhere. And, as a cherry on the cake, I had to pay for parking, although in the booking.com description it was simply said "parking available".

Lovely clean hotel. Friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast. Lovely evening meal on 2 nights. Right in airport so didnt have to go outside to get to hotel. Lovely lobby area with plenty of charging points. Sweet machine and ice cream freezer at reception for a treat. Few steps outside door the airport bus could be got which went to Gothunburg station for just under 10 euro a person. Would definitely recommend.
