Great location, I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation - simply loved the cabin style, even though they were simple and the bunk beds may not fit everyone (we were accommodated in the small red cabins). I was staying there with my father and he was thrilled .) Service facilities were clean and close by, the camp staff were friendly and supportive. We have rented bed sheets (as we're traveling lightly) and got them almost right-away.

The location is amazing, and the pizza in the restaurant is great. We did not expect to find such good pizza in such a tiny place. :) It's dog-friendly, which is a great plus!
The house we booked was well-equipped and in very good condition overall. However, I wish the management had taken better care to check if the previous owners had cleaned properly after leaving. It wasn't disgustingly dirty, but the previous occupants definitely did not follow the cleaning instructions. There were also too few cleaning supplies, and I wish the rugs were labeled—toilet rugs, for example, should be labeled so people don't use them to clean other parts. ;-)

Kalmar is a beautiful city of beautiful people at heart. People were helpful in giving direction, supporting us in language translation so very helpful. It has beautiful sites: the museum, harbour, castle, university, churches and big shopping malls and beautiful beach fromts

Kalmar is a beautiful coastal city in the SE of Sweden.There is a lot of history here and the city is very well preserved and clean.You can get around very nicely on a bike though you cannot cross the bridge over to Öland by this method.
Generally people are friendly and welcoming and most speak English if you dont know the lingo.
