The first thing we noticed was how spacious the room was—there was plenty of area to relax without feeling cramped. The bathroom was equally large, and we were pleased to have consistent hot water with great pressure throughout our stay.
Cleanliness & Maintenance
The property is exceptionally clean and clearly well-maintained. It’s obvious the management takes great pride in the upkeep of the building, as everything felt fresh and in perfect working order.
Dining & Service
The Staff: Truly the highlight of our trip. Every team member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
On-site Restaurant: Having a restaurant right on the property was so convenient for a quiet dinner.
Breakfast: The included breakfast was simple but more than enough to get your day started.

First time to Togo. WOW greeted by the Owner Maurice. The Hotel is on par with American Standards. Daniel, Florence and the Eda the Cleaning Lady touched my Heart, EXCEPTIONAL STAFF even with the English/French language barrier. Then the Cuisine. Must try the Steak with Mushrooms Sauce. Security is Tight with Armed Presence. Outside there is a Pavillion with Projection TV and full scale Bar. Tried the Native Beer "Pils" taste is on par with Heineken.
And lastly the Price. $48 Per night was a Steal😀 Very Clean room and they even use Moth Balls. For anyone looking for a 5 Star hotel but has a Shoe string BUDGET the Hotel Ambassador Annex is the place for you. STRONGLY RECOMMEND.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Ahome. The room was very nice and comfortable, as was the entire place. I do not speak very much French, but the owner Koami spoke excellent English and was able to help me with anything I needed. The staff was also very kind and helpful. I ended up staying a second time after travelling to Benin and back.

Taxi drivers will try to overcharge.
Taxi drivers will try to overcharge. If you eat at a beach restaurant, you will be pestered constantly by people trying to sell you things (and the flies!).
The Palais de Lome was excellent with great guides inside and in the gardens.
The Grand Marché was awful with sellers pestering constantly and all offering much the same stuff.

The street markets are of interest and very friendly people. Bring small gifts to the kids and they'll not mind taking their photos (important tip for photographs)
