There were different breakfast every morning and the staff was free to prepare it for the time we wanted. Super friendly that they responded quickly to our needs like extra blanket and towel.
They also managed to prepare the extra matress with a mosquito net.

This was our first visit to Uganda and we loved that the house was spacious enough to accommodate all 5 of us.. we're grateful for Brenda for making our stay in jinja smooth by helping us get a Ugandan sim card for easy communication, connecting us with a good driver who dropped and picked us and helped us navigate jinja...she also recommended places to visit and eat out and we appreciate that!! The house also has 3 balconies and I loved that the most. The house was also very clean and the painting were very lovely!

As a white person, I felt equal to everyone else, there was no discrimination of any sort! People are very kind and warm hearted! Very honest and fair! Most people will try to help you with instructions to the best of their ability!
I was amazingly surprised that for 16 days I didn't heard not a single curse word!
People are so humble, and threat each other with upmost respect and love!
What I also loved as a Christian is that I heard that most people start their conversation with "Praise God!"

Please be aware of potential issues when booking with private hosts and apartments. A recurring challenge I've encountered is that some property owners, dissatisfied with initial pricing, may attempt to alter or cancel bookings if a new client offers a more favorable rate. This has occurred three times, leading to the cancellation of my reservations in Jinja. I strongly advise communicating with the property owner well in advance of your arrival.

The water games were nice, on my to do.
The water games were nice, on my to do. I went there for the festival, an amazing time. The place is dusty around November, but totally worth it. Adrift has nice water games: bungee jumping, rafting. You can also do water slides, visit the source of the Nile and do a boat drive. The party life is lively, and their liquor is so cheap ☺️
