The hotel appears to be very new as of December 2025. Very pleasant, professional front desk staff members -- I met one at 11pm and the other at 5:30am. Shuttle drivers were prompt, both at my arrival at 10:30pm at PDX and at my departure from the hotel the next morning at 5:30. I slept very well in the comfortable bed (one small glitch--the window curtain could not be lowered, and the bottom of it didn't block out bright lights from another building several hundred yards away -- so I put my briefcase on the windowsill; problem solved!). Bathroom was clean and bath linens were very clean and fresh. An excellent experience!

I liked that the elevator was close to the check in desk.

I liked that the elevator was close to the check in desk. I have mobility limitations and I appreciated that. The breakfast buffet was lacking compared to other BW hotels. The coffee station was completely c separate from the buffet area and with mobility limitations it was a real inconvenience for me.

We prefer Vancouver over Portland. Less traffic.

We prefer Vancouver over Portland. Less traffic. Feels safer. Lots of modern shopping, restaurants, residential. Nice to walk the lengthly green spaces along the Columbia River. Good place to "anchor" while visiting the Portland metro area - just beware that the commute into Portland in the morning and return in the afternoon is awful. If visiting the coast - easier to head north to Longview and avoid driving through the Portland metro area.

I found Portland to be very user friendly with public...

I found Portland to be very user friendly with public transportation. It is also very walkable. We enjoyed eating out, going to the art museum and to the zoo. I need to eat gluten free and my find me gluten free app had so many options in Portland. It was very easy for me to eat out and feel safe doing so. On a side note, the Art Museum was totally worth the trip. I was fortunate to see the David Hockney exhibit. Loved it.

Even though it's a basement space, it's so nice to stay in the place, it's warm and comfy. We have family live in Camas, that's why we visit there, Camas is a small town, everything is chill and people are friendly.

Seemed unsafe, unclean, door had a large space between the wall and door frame. Was hard to shut the door quickly if needed. Stains all over the window curtains, the toilet paper roll was already used not replaced. A towel was ripped. The kitchenette didn’t even have cabinets or kitchenware like stated. No couch. Stains on the floor. Stairway to garage looked like black mold and smelled terribly. Would not recommend to stay here. Didn’t even spend the night.

This is such a beautiful area to visit any time of year! This trip was in the fall and the fall colors didn't disappoint! It was so beautiful even if it did rain a bit. I also love the Vancouver farmer's markets, food trucks, gluten free and vegan options, shopping, Mochi donuts (GF/DF at the farmer's market or otherwise in Portland) and the people. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and very accepting. I also love hiking nearby and the ability to drive to the beach!

Super kind people, lots to see and do. Easy to get to from PDX via max rail. The public transit is extremely affordable, which I liked and it allowed me to hop on and off of buses and the max all day without breaking the bank. Cute and artsy city, I felt very safe there as a solo traveller, and it has a lot of good food. I hiked up to Pittock Mansion and got a great viewpoint of Mt. Hood, but beware that the bus stop for this is a little weird and just off the side of a major road. The only downfall to Portland is the homeless problem, I felt very sad seeing it, as someone who frequents NYC, I felt it was much worse here than in the big city. Something should be done to help them more. Where I stayed: Society Hostel (highly recommend, great value/friendly staff/cozy and comfortable) Food recs: Escape from New York Pizza, Ramen at the Portland Food Hall, and BOBACAT.

Great location to the airport.

Great location to the airport. The check in and check out staff were very helpful and friendly. The shuttle drivers were great also. I would highly recommend this hotel. The hot breakfast was a great morning meal.

I only live 30 min north of Vancouver, my reason for visiting was my pets and 4th of July noise. If you are visiting the Portland Or/Vancouver area, the Vancouver side of the river is just less crowded than the Portland side. For a very good meal, Little Italy downtown Vancouver has been one of my favorites for several years great food and good people. Visiting especially down town Portland, I would recommend driving to the Van Port park and ride then take the yellow line train into down town, way easier and cheaper than paying for parking downtown. If it is raining go to the expo center park and ride, it's the end of the line there is always a train there so you can wait inside the train. In Portland, every one uses the train. And umbrellas are for tourist lol

I was born and raised in Portland and honestly I find that coming home is not the same. I know my way around town and it has always been a pain to drive anywhere. There are many places to see in the metro area but it has just gotten really crowded. If you are driving yourself it is not easy to get anywhere unless you know the area. I realize that airport way is really congested with the bridge to Washington just down the street.

The staff was friendly, helpful, down to earth. I felt so comfortable at this hotel. This was my first visit to Oregon; yet, i didn't feel like a visitor. The staff was very attentive, from the minute I landed at PDX until the shuttle picked me up to leave. Thanks for a great stay.

The best breakfast and service, as friendly staff cleared dishes and kept the breakfast room so clean and happy. Spacious breakfast room with outdoor seating. Convenience: 5 minutes from airport but super quiet. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of nooks with comfortable seating throughout the lobby and some hallways (I read a book in the morning while my family slept). I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back if we ever travel through PDX.

I always stay here when I fly out of PDX, because I can park my car at the hotel for a reasonable cost and am shuttled to the airport that delivers you to the airport on time and picks you up when you return (you call the hotel). It's quiet and comfortable. They offer breakfast, however, I'm usually leaving before serving time so they set out muffins, fruit and coffee you can eat before you leave.
