I had an amazing stay at the Hilton in Irvine! The room was immaculate and incredibly comfortable, with a bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The view from my room was lovely, adding to the relaxing ambiance. The hotel itself was fantastic, with well-maintained facilities and a great pool area perfect for unwinding. The outdoor lounge was a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the evening. Overall, a perfect combination of comfort and style. I can't wait to stay here again! Highly recommended!

John Wayne Airport (SNA) Information

Location and Transport

John Wayne Airport sits on the edge of the city of Santa Ana (6 miles/10 kilometres from the centre) but it’s reached via the town of Irvine. Taxis and shuttles take around 20 minutes to get the centre of Santa Ana and cost about USD 30. During the week, public buses 76 and 212 run hourly from around 06:00 until 18:00. There’s also a bus to Disneyland® in LA, which leaves from Arrivals and departs hourly between 08:00 and 19:00.

There are a couple of hotels located just beyond the terminals with many connected by shuttle bus. More options can be found around the neighbouring Irvine Business Complex. We had a reunion in Huntington Beach and it was the closest...

We had a reunion in Huntington Beach and it was the closest Hilton owned hotel to our venue. I chose it because I am a Hilton member. Costa Mesa is a nice town close to many beaches and has great weather. Recommend Stonefire ,Grill restaurant.

Irvine is good starting point for an Orange County vacation.

Irvine is good starting point for an Orange County vacation. Irvine has Great Park, Irvine Spectrum (an outdoor mall with good food places to eat)., and the gateway to other Orange County attractions: Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, San Juan Capistrano.

I used the hotel as a place to stay while i moved cross...

I used the hotel as a place to stay while i moved cross country. I have a cat and this was one of the only options in my original local area. i have to say while it was not perfect it was just right for the need. STAFF made it wonderful - super kind, always willing to help and always mad me feel safe and my cat safe. it's a budget hotel for sure but nice amenities and as i said staff excellent thanks so much

Clean city exuding decent vibes from the middle and/or upper economic strata. The stay at the Hyatt Regency felt like an exclusive "country club" experience. It's near an excellent Civic Center multi purpose hall and library that seemed top notch. The Back Bay waters behind the Hyatt was teeming with fish that were jumping out of the water as if frolicking with the festive celebrations on the beach.

Tustin is a nice little area with places around to explore! We were there for a Punk festival but there were amazing food places near by! Citrus Cafe was incredible for breakfast, Terra Mia pizzeria was amazing as well! Definitely a nice little stop to have a get away vacation! Only thing is be careful of maps trying to put you on toll road 261 for short trips

The traffic noise was unbearable. the 405 was right outside.

The traffic noise was unbearable. the 405 was right outside. I had earplugs and 2 additional head wear pieces plus the pillow over my head and I could not sleep. Also the shower was so strong it was painful. The smoke alarm had been removed - a big safety issue! We tried to cancel for the next day and the front desk said yes but then the big boss said no. This is not a way to run a business.

Hotel was clean. Staff friendly. But they should have told me that the pool was under construction prior to arrival. We had teenagers with us a pick this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Seems deceptive not to mention it to us ahead of time.

I've stayed in many hotels and the staff here was one of the best! the location is convenient for traveling to neighboring cities/towns/beaches. There are shops/restaurants within walking distance as well which was a nice added bonus.

Santa Ana is my hometown, although I live elsewhere now.

Santa Ana is my hometown, although I live elsewhere now. Santa Ana has many sights to see. It is also within a moderate driving distance to beaches, amusement parks, and other entertainment venues. Santa Ana and Orange County are nice places to visit and explore.

Newport is a lovely town that isn't talked about enough.

Newport is a lovely town that isn't talked about enough. I'm not a world traveler by any means but it's a wonderful escape from any busy life and although dinning and entertainment can be a bit pricey I'd say for a short visit to reset your mental and possibly even physical health it would be most worth it!
