Dinner in the lobby restaurant was nice, I had a perfect cheese burger, sweet potato fries thin sliced and a wedge salad. The shuttle to the airport runs 24/7, every 20 minutes. I had an early flight and was door to door from the hotel in 2 minutes. Close to rental car lots so really perfect hotel if you are in STL. Great visit!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We utilized the shuttle to and from the airport with no issues. We landed at 11:30pm on our return flight. We called the hotel and the shuttle was there with hardly any wait time. When we got to our room we were tired and ready for bed but the room next door was having a party and going strong. The desk immediately got us a new room and handled the situation very professionally. The rooms are clean, the beds was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. Really only have good things to say about this hotel.

Location and Transport
Just 14 miles (23 kilometres) outside the city, Lambert-St.Louis International Airport is connected to the centre by MetroLink, a light-rail line that connects you to downtown St Louis in 30 minutes. Regular trains leave around every ten minutes from both terminals. There’s also a bus terminal and Greyhound bus stop for national services. A taxi from STL will cost around USD 44, taking around 20 minutes.

We stayed here to visit family.
We stayed here to visit family. So didn’t see much of the area besides the aquarium in downtown St. Louis which was awesome.
We ate at the restaurant right next door which was a BBQ place. Very good food.

The mattress was hard and there was no elevator you had to take the stairs no breakfast you could tell it needed updating and the shuttle stops at 11 pm at night that's when our plane got back into St Louis airport so we had to find another way back thank God for the taxi service they were very nice to help

Desk clerk was very helpful when checking in altho he was very busy with phone calls and check ins. There should be 2 people in the evening. Most check in during this time. Disappointed in cleanliness of room. with the smell when we entered musty. Stale. . Turned on air it got better. Disappointed not being able to purchase water when leaving d/t computers being down.. was very satisfied with the shuttle. The driver was helpful with luggage

If you're looking for a clean hotel with great amenities this is the place. This hotel smells wonderful, great decor. Has a restaurant and coffee bar. Places to gather for conversations. Warm, homey feeling. Our stay was wonderful. We had a great view of the airport, we saw several planes take off and land. We had littles and they loved it. Beds were decently comfortable. The pools are small, but traveling in June I found the pools to be empty so we didn't mind. Overall this hotel lives up to the hype. Book it! you're 15 mins away from the Gateway Arch, minutes from Walmart and several eatery's.

I arrive 2 1/2 hours prior to check in at Pear tree Inn in Edmondson. Janet the front desk, receptionist assured me my early arrival was no problem.. she was able to find me a room.
Everyone was absolutely lovely. I always enjoy my stay at pear tree Inn.

Horrible hotel.
Horrible hotel. Room filthy, parking lot scary, front desk staff beyond useless. Parking while you go on your trip cost as much as parking at the airport, so what's the point of advertising the parking and free shuttle! {I did go park at the airport as opposed to leaving my car in this lot - I had every expectation to find damage to my vehicle when I left after just the one night. I also got up and left at 4:30am to just get the heck out of that place.}

I thought we were closer to downtown but it wasn't really that long of a drive to any of the places we wanted to see.
The only issue is the road you have to turn onto to get to the hotel is quite a sharp right and kind of scary when other cars are exiting the freeway.

My family and I were in St. Louis for spring break and stayed here for 4 nights. This was a great Hotel! The staff were all very friendly, the Hotel was very clean, the pool was working, breakfast and coffee was always warm. The location was great too - right off the highway and withing walking distance to the Zoo and Forest Park. If we're ever in STL again, I'd stay here!

There are a few things that I always LOVE about this hotel: the staff and the location. The front desk staff are literally some of the most kind and friendly employees I have ever encountered, especially Jacob. He is always so sweet and helpful, he has been there for both of my stays with the Hampton Inn. We come to STL mainly for Supercross events at the Dome. This hotel is only a block away from the Dome so the walk there and back is so easy.
