The place itself is clean, modern, and very comfortable. It honestly feels like a 4–5 star hotel.
The owner was especially friendly. On the night I arrived, they even offered me a ride to a nearby restaurant since it was on their way home.

I was in town to see the art museum. This hotel was the perfect location. Maybe a 5 minute straight walk from the hotel to the museum. The room was great, and breakfast was wonderful. Great hotel!

Nukus is the gateway to nearby archeological sites, and of course, the Aral Sea. It is home to a nice art museum, Savitsky. There is also a regional anthropological museum and a similar museum managed by the main public university with an emphasis on local poets, writers and musicians worth visiting, too. Nukus is a small, pedestrian friendly city, and has many quaint cafes and restaurants. People in Nukus are friendly and helpful, and most speak the local language, Karakalpakstani!
