The Emerald is, by far, one of the most comfortable guesthouses I’ve visited. The room was very clean and well appointed. The parking inside the gated area provided excellent security and the owner and staff could not have been more accommodating. This will be my go-to place in Komani / Queenstown when I’m in town. The room is spacious, the beds and furniture are very comfortable and the bedding is of great quality. I wish I could rate them more than 10/10. Good quality and clean towels too and bathroom accessories.

We had such a wonderful stay at 5Res Stay in Queenstown!
We had such a wonderful stay at 5Res Stay in Queenstown! The place is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and truly feels like a home away from home.
Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available when needed. Everything we could possibly need was already provided, so there was no need to keep calling the host for assistance.
The peaceful and quiet environment made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend 5Res Stay to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped place to stay in Queenstown.

Queenstown used to be a beautiful town and there is nothing...
Queenstown used to be a beautiful town and there is nothing left of it now. Everything is in ruins. The beautiful stone buildings burnt down but never fixed. Weeds and Trees are now growing inside the building. The Hexagon with the beautiful fountain, benches and flowers all broken down.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair.
The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out.
The service was excellent at the Wellness and beauty Spa.

Queenstown is, unfortunately, an absolute dump ! Driving straight through in order to reach your destination, would be considered as being in Queenstown too long ! I don't have enough words to describe how disgusted I was with the place, however, this is becoming the norm throughout South Africa. Council mismanagement is blatantly obvious and I see no reason why it would get any better in the near future ! The eateries were also so disgusting that I ended up having rolls with cold meat and cheese for dinner - what a shame !
