Felt very private. The fenced garden and patio was nice. Parking was easy. We like having a kitchen and real refrigerator. Have stayed right in Old town and nearby, and this was so much quieter and private, but at the same time was easy to access town and shopping.

Surrounded by olive groves, Il Sogno di Alghero offers free parking, and air-conditioned apartments. The garden features barbecue facilities, an outdoor pool with hydromassage, and a gym area.

We (two adults, two teens) had a fabulous three night stay at La Fontana recently. From the point of view of the accommodation, it is exactly as the pictures show and is very clean and very well organised. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, all rooms have external shutters and there is air conditioning. There's a barbecue with fuel provided, and toys for younger kids. We loved the pool and jacuzzi which was an attractive area to relax in and we also had a morning walk along one of the lanes outside - a beautiful area with fig, plum and apricot trees and countryside views. It's about a ten minute drive to Alghero / supermarkets. The owners are the real jewel in the crown however; they are excellent hosts, very friendly, always available to help if needed and so mindful of guests' comfort and pleasure. Giuliana sent comprehensive driving directions in advance, left us organic vegetables grown by her husband, met us soon after we arrived and gave us great tips for beaches to visit and things to do. We asked about restaurants and can't thank her enough for her recommendation of dinner at nearby Agriturismo Rudas, which was one of the highlights of our overall trip. She even phoned them to make the booking for us, grazie ancora! We would definitely return, and wholeheartedly recommend.

Great little lovely penthouse with a nice view and very close to Maria Pia which was our main destination. The apartment was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed in the kitchen and the corner restaurant was selling amazing pizza. Giorgio was very welcoming and helpful to accommodate all of our needs. I highly recommend this apartment.

Everything. This is very welcome brother and sister families business. They are very warm people and help every way they can. The place is so quite and so big and so relaxing. We had a great pleasure to spent our vacation there. And keep in mind - language is not a barrier. We do not speak Italian, they almost do not speak English, but we communicated without problems at all.

Residence Picalè is located right on the beach in Alghero, a 20-minute walk from the harbor and historic center. Each self-catering apartment has a balcony, most with sea view.

Very spacious apartment with balcony, facing the swimming pool. AC is new. Beach is about 500 steps away, big supermarket right downstairs, we had many bottles of local beer. There is a small bar inside the supermarket, one euro for an espresso, two for a glass of wine. We came in October, not a whole lot of tourists remaining.
