Apartments in Autun

Location. The room was very quiet..The building is an old monastery with a beautiful innercourt with many flowers.

Everything. Host, Victoire, was super friendly, approachable, and incredibly helpful in finding things to do and good stores and restaurants in Autun. She was instantly available by a text or email but gave us perfect privacy in an elegantly restored centuries-old building just around the block from one of the greatest examples of Romanesque architecture in France, the Cathedral of St. Lazare. An example: we used up the coffee provided and after one email, within about 15 minutes, her husband dropped off a fresh container. Our apartment had lovely windows overlooking the street and most of the shops, restaurants, stores were only a couple of blocks away and yet there was no noise or the feeling of being in the middle of an urban scene. Of course, Autun is, in my humble opinion, the real France.

Beautiful apartment, perfect location, the staff on hand were exceptionally helpful and generous with their time and efforts on our behalf. We even extended our stay an additional day with no problems at all.

The location was ideal and it was very easy to park right in front of the property. The host was so friendly and had made sure to welcome us at our arrival and made sure we were not missing anything before leaving. We enjoyed the place as it felt like at home...even fancier ;)

L’Arbre Voyageur was an incredible place to stay in Autun! It felt luxe from the design of the apartment and all of the special touches. It also had excellent air con to keep us cool.
