Apartments in Val Thorens

The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped for a week long stay. The spa was perfect and we used it almost on daily basis. the staff was helpful and courteous. Proximity to a supermarket and 2-3 great restaurants made it very convenient for a night out. The location was great and the ski-out was very good. Overall great value and bang for buck.

Clean modern quiet (apartment 15) and everything that was needed was provided. Good size for 4 people. Nice spa facilities and fresh bread at the door was a bonus (additional cost but not excessive). It's further out of town than other apartments., but After a couple of days we found the easiest route to the slopes - 5 min walk, then a short ski to central area of town.(ask at reception!) Our children found the off piste route to "ski in" (From a blue run, after lots of snowfall) it was manageable ..and fun for all of us. Otherwise it was a 5 min uphill trudge to the apartment from the blue run from Plein sud. Great apartment for the price, highly recommend, will return! To note cleaning expectations on leaving were not excessive, just general tidy and dishes cleaned and put away.

The appartment has all you need for a ski week. The boots heater is wonderful.

location was very good, still it was quite far from the proper village, there were restaurants and stuff around tho. the room was warm all the time

The team at Résidence Le Portillo were friendly, helpful, well organised and always happy to help. As well as a restaurant, the residence has two nice bars. The bar overlooking the slopes has a large deck and a big screen for sporting events and good music. A ski out residence, Le Portillo is centrally located with easy access to ski shops, lift pass outlet, restaurants, bars, supermarkets & everything you might want or need on a ski holiday.

LOcation was superb, easy ski in/out. The decor was not so much. If you compare to other similar partments in Austria/Dolomites etc. it was really disappointing.

Ski focused accommodation with ski lockers and ski in-out, free public transportation.

Location provided easy access to all the shops in town and easy access to the ski resort.
