Apartments in Vrboska

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Rosa in Basina, near Vrboska. The place is a true little paradise — right by the sea, with a private beach that makes the experience even more peaceful and unique. The apartment was lovely, very well equipped, and had a beautiful terrace with a sea view — perfect for relaxing, enjoying breakfast, or watching the sunset. A huge thank you to our host, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Since we didn’t have a car, he kindly offered us some sandwiches, coffee, and even milk — such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. The only thing to keep in mind is that the house is a bit isolated, so having a car (or bikes, if you’re sporty) is recommended. That said, the peaceful location is exactly what makes Villa Rosa so special. Patrick and Alex

Absolutely beautiful location, amazing view of see through the pine trees. Very silent and perfect for a relaxing holiday. It is only 10 mins of walk to Jelsa, where one can find necessities like supermarkets, restaurants etc. There is also a beach 5 mins walk away. The house is beautifully decorated, everything was clean and functional. Kitchen had all the basics like cooking utensils as well as oil, salt etc. Pool was clean and the pool area was fully equipped with sunbeds and an umbrella, very comfortable and perfect for a lovely evening, watching the sundown. It was also very handy to have designated parking space, since parking could be a bit of a problem.

Our room was nice, big and clean. It had everything needed in the kitchen. It is a place a family can easily stay longer. The beach is amazing, very nice for jumping, swimming and SUP.

The amenities, the cleanliness, and the views. They were all above my expectations and could have not been more spectacular. The host was outstanding. There were delicious snacks and drinks for us when we arrived. He helped us navigate the unbelievable scenic roads and even shared delectable homemade deserts with us.

Located at the outskirts of Vrboska near a small beach. The apartment was basic, but clean, and somehow worth the price.

I would definitely go back to Amphora rooms. Ema was great, she was very communicative and met me upon arrival and told me all about how to explore the neighborhood. I especially liked the sandy beach that was about a 5 minute walk away, I spent many idyllic days there in the secluded cove. Ema let me borrow a bicycle to reach Vrboska town, a 5 minute bike or 20 minute walk away, where you have many great restaurants and grocery markets at your disposal. The room had a small but fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and burner/stovetop for cooking simple meals. This corner of Hvar island is not for the partying or social crowd; this is where you come when you want to unplug, disconnect, and enjoy peace, tranquility, gorgeous ocean-side living and soak up the sun. That said, it took only a few moments to rent a scooter and 10 minutes drive to Stari Grad to see a pretty historical town, and 30 minutes to Hvar town, where all the excitement is. The ride over the mountains to Hvar town is recommended, not the tunnel.

Its location on the Adriatic, boats bobbing, waves lapping lulling one to sleep.
