Apartments in Kochi

As a family traveling with two young children it can be difficult to find a location that meets our needs (separate room with a living space and kitchenette). Hariyama had all of these things and a washing machine to top it off. Highly recommend while visiting Kochi.

Everything! Attention to detail. Labels in English on everything. So many amenities provided. Super comfortable pillows & bed. Netflix provided. Spotlessly clean. Big parking space. Could have stayed longer than 2 days easily.

The location is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The turntable and records were a nice touch. The wood was great. This is a stand alone building so plenty of privacy. Plenty of space upstairs. I would stay here again if I revisited Kochi.

Wi-Fi & AC worked well. The building itself is solid, and the location was convenient, but there were so many hygienic and kitchen usability issues that could have been addressed before our arrival. Our point of contact was responsive and apologetic, but these issues were observable in advance and completely avoidable. This place had a lot of potential, but the lack of basic cleaning made our stay shortlived.

Hotel Re:Plug is a one-bedroom (triple single bed) self contained apartment with loft beds up a ladder for children. It was perfect for just the two of us for a five night stay. The third bed in the bedroom came in handy for unpacking suitcases. Great living space with fully equipped kitchen and comfy lounge area. Brand new clothes washing machine and dryer came in useful for washing a week's worth of washing. The car park space outside the building is a dedicated space. One really needs a car to stay here as it's in a residential area not close to shops, restaurants or public transport as far as we could see. The nearest good supermarket was Sunny Mart - a 15 minute drive away. This supermarket was fantastic and had a fabulous selection of ready made meals so we never had to cook. Also a good selection of wine and beer. Other driving distances to places such as Kochi Castle, Chikurin-ji Temple and Botanic Gardens were only a short drive away.

Typical Japanese house with tatami. The place was clean and very quiet. The owner was very helpful and polite and his friend Piko, very cute.
