Unrelentingly friendly staff, great convenient location

Although the property was a little out of the way and there was a small snafu with check-in, the stay ended up being absolutely wonderful. The place was extremely comfortable, and it was clear the owners had thought of everything. The bento box for dinner was a lovely touch, and the delicious rolls for breakfast were perfect. A great property if you're hiking the Kumano Kudo Trail. All in all, a really thoughtful, cozy experience—would highly recommend!

Super nice place, I loved it. You can easily start the Kumano Kodo from there. The owner is a great guy. He offered to pick me up from Tanabe station and gave me a ride to a supermarket so I could get vegan food. Thanks again! 🙏 I would def stay there again.

We loved our stay at this charming traditional Japanese house near Tenjinsaki! The place was clean and full of authentic style. The host thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with tasty snacks and even provided bicycles, which made exploring the area easy. The location was perfect—close to the sea and just a short ride to Kii-Tanabe for dinner. A peaceful, cozy, and affordable getaway. Highly recommend!!

I was meeting a friend who lives near by and this was a perfect place. It was great it was so close to the station and also walking distance to Lawsons and a grocery store. The work space was helpful because I had to be up early to work and it was a good option to not bother other people.

Amazing place! Location is great. The person handling the check in and keys was amazing! We arrived a bit earlier than expected and sent an email asking whether an early check-in might be possible. Within five minutes, someone was there to let us in. They also had frozen meals, microwaveable food, and drinks available, which was a very thoughtful touch. Many guests arrive late, when restaurants and shops may already be closed, so having food available on the site made a big difference and showed a lot of consideration for travelers. The beds were great, and it was our first time spending a night surrounded by rice fields. The atmosphere was incredible. Sounds of nature were lovely, and it was one of the most restful nights we've had in a long time. A lovely place that I highly recommend.

Close to the beach about 3 minutes, restaurants and grocery-stores. The owner is very friendly and helpful. A place is clean and is enough place for 3 adults.

Right next to Ginza Dori (eateries are spread across the entire stretch). It is only 5-minutes walk to the beach! Small cozy apartment that comes with your necessary amenities - washing machine, stove, fridge, and drip coffee sachets!
