Beautiful village and house, large comfortable apartment for 4 people, a friendly host, who gave us printed information about apartment and the village in our native language. Moreover - the apartment looks much better than on the photos.

Great location and very cozy apartment.

Comfortable accommodations in beautifully restored historic building in downtown Hoorn. Arie, the host, was wonderful! He responded to inquiries promptly, welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel at home immediately, arranged for additional garden furniture, dinnerware, etc. to accommodate me hosting my family and friends in the beautiful church garden. Restaurants, stores, sights all within walking distance. Kitchenette equipped with everything one needs for breakfast, lunch, and easy dinners.

It was cold when we arrived, but the air conditioning heated the whole house. The house was clean and safe. It was close to the places we wanted to go. The house is in the village, with a market 2 km away. Recommended.

The hosts were super accommodating with picking the keys up - as we were running a little bit late from travelling! On arrival, the apartment was absolutely spotless and really well presented. Menno gave us the tour of the apartment and recommended a few places nearby which was nice. Plus, the welcome basket was a lovely touch and we made use of! The apartment itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our short stay in Hoorn. The location also meant that shops were only a short walk away and plenty of places to eat.

Short walk to the train station. Delightful city outside of the bustle of Amsterdam but less than 30 minutes away by train. Easy trains or bus to Edam, Volendam, Alkmaar, Zuiderzee and other small towns. So much to see in the area. The beds were really comfortable and the patio is a nice extra. Would highly recommend staying here!
