The highlight of our stay at Malkata House was undoubtedly Seed's hospitality. He and the chef looked after us exceptionally well throughout our four-night stay and genuinely made us feel welcome and comfortable. The property itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Arabic style, with plenty of seating areas spread across different floors where guests can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We loved spending time in these communal spaces. The staff were also very accommodating when I asked about laundry. As a family of five, I had a full bag of washing and didn't want to be charged per item. The staff kindly agreed to wash the entire bag for USD 10, which I thought was very reasonable. After long days sightseeing in the heat, it was a huge help. The location is excellent for exploring the area. It is only a five-minute walk from the fascinating Medinet Habu, and from the rooftop and upper floors you can enjoy views towards the Valley of the Kings. Our children especially enjoyed cooling off in the pool every day. Overall, Malkata House offers warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and a wonderfully peaceful escape from the crowds.

A very comfortable stay, close to all the main tourist attractions, such as the Valley of the Kings, and boasting a stunning view. The owner was a wonderful host, helping us immensely with arranging tours and transportation. Upon our return to Luxor, later in our trip, we stayed here again.

Ali and the staff were amazing. The property is clean, in a great quiet location with great views, and meals provided were amazing. There are some small shops and restaurants down the road making it easier to get what we needed. Priest set us up with a taxi all day to see different temples. 10/10 would recommend and go back!

I liked the privacy of the house and the private garden area where if you request, the owner will prepare a meal with grilled meat of your choice. Great value. Bed was very comfy, with fluffy pillows. wonder kitchen and utensils. loved the bathroom size. Many places to sit and enjoy the moment. I watched Hang gliders fly by overhead. That was awesome and apparently not something you see in Luxor often.

Hassan and his family were incredibly welcoming and kind. By the end of our few days we felt like family. It was an incredible experience to share their world with us. This is not your normal accommodation, you'll leave with friends. From the moment we got there his son Mohammed, showed us all around and took us for a ride in the desert with his donkey. It was so good we ended up staying longer than expected.

Everything. The architecture is gorgeous. The staff were all extremely helpful - working with me when I came in on a very late flight to help me check-in. There's a small shop and an atm within walking distance with a variety of food/snacks.

The property is located near Valley of the Kings and can see it from the property. It’s only 20-25 minutes ride from Luxor Airport. Our host Ahmed is a spectacular person and very flexible to our requests. He made us feel very welcomed and gave us many recommendations for sightseeing Luxor.
