The Bell Tower sits on the banks of the Swan River at lively Barrack Square. It is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was built to house the bells from Saint Martin in the Fields church in Trafalgar Square, London. The setting gives you a direct connection between a famous piece of British history and Perth’s riverfront.
On the interactive Bell Tower Experience Tour you can try the art of bell ringing yourself with an experienced tour guide. Along the way you’ll learn about the Bell Tower’s story and the historic royal bells it contains. You’ll also visit the Observation Deck, where you can enjoy views across the Swan River and, while there, play a tune on the coin-operated Carillon.
