Spend an evening on the Thomson River as the sun sets aboard a heritage boat. You will cruise along the riverbanks, watch the birds come home to roost and hear about the local flora, fauna and history. Nibbles are provided and you may bring your own alcohol (BYO).
As darkness falls the boat will moor at Outback Pioneers' river camp for a two-course stockman’s dinner served around the campfire. A bush poet will entertain the group, then you will watch the Starlight’s Spectacular Sound & Light Show in the open-air riverbank theatre — an exclusive movie commissioned by the Kinnon family to celebrate the tale of Captain Starlight. The evening finishes with tea, damper and golden syrup by the campfire under a million stars.
