You’ll walk through pages of a giant comic book in Brussels, the world’s comic strip capital. On this interactive tour you’ll hunt for massive murals hidden on city facades, solving riddles to locate favourites such as the Tintin fire escape mural, the Lucky Luke wall and the Smurfs passage. As you move along the Comic Strip Route, the route will also take you past city highlights like Manneken Pis, the Grand Place and the Dansaert district.

Along the way you’ll learn why Belgium is called the home of the “Ninth Art” and hear the stories behind authors such as Hergé. The experience is very family friendly and turns a history lesson into a cartoon-style treasure hunt that children enjoy. It’s also 100% flexible, so you can stop whenever you like for a waffle, a comic souvenir or a craft beer. The comic characters have escaped the page — can you find them all?
