In Whistler you'll try one of the town’s most unusual summer activities: summer bobsleigh at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games venue. After an orientation and a guided tour of the Olympic facility, you'll take an exclusive track walk and learn about the course as you move along. Along the way you'll get familiar with how the wheeled sleds work and how the pilot steers through each bend.
You’ll then ride in a bobsleigh fitted with wheels and driven by a trained pilot, experiencing twists and turns that can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h. No prior experience is required, and the activity runs rain or shine. Travellers must meet age, weight and height requirements: over 12 years old, weighing between 85 lb (39 kg) and 285 lb (129 kg), and standing between 4′6″ (137 cm) and 6′5″ (196 cm).
